My wife and I just got back from Red Fish Lake Lodge. It's just a magical place. So beautiful. WE took the ride across the lake did a hike and some other walks. We really can't wait to go back.
This place may seem magical to people from dense urban areas. But it's now overbuilt/commercialized. It was fantastic in the 80s and 90s. I still recall an old guy saying how crowded it would be in the early 2000's if it was in California. Well it's now like that. Last time we came we stayed for a couple hours, then left, it was just too crowded. Not the place I knew anymore. It's like a crowded beach that's too cold to swim at.
That's true, thanks to UA-cam. But it's still SO beautiful. Go mid-week, get a Parking spot early. We had to throw our towels on the hood so people would stop asking if we were leaving.
You can have it all to yourself if you snowshoe to it in the winter. But yeah, everyone wants clicks so any time they find something cool, they post it on UA-cam. So no matter how remote, you'll find tourists trying to find something.@@NathanBd-zw5pt

Beautiful and historic truly magical
Truly fantastic representation, imagery, and backstory of one of the most special places on earth 🌎
Too bad it’s been marketed in Utah 😢
Yo Cali peeps...please pack out all needles and poop. Ty!
