- Bro really thought defeat was impossible, but then found out that having tons of wounds that auto draw themselves and do 6 damage each are practically unbeatable...
This game is one of the best games EVER made! I might start uploading full runs to youtube, but it sounds like it could be tedious especially as I don't have a ton of space for large videos. - Ігри

I had a run like this. Deck full of wounds and curses 😅 it was wild and messy but so much fun. The versatility in this game is so rewarding
I love to just imagine an extremely beaten up and badly hurt ironclad standing up and saying stuff like "Oh you think this is pain?! I'll show you MY pain!" 😂
Yeah all the different kinds of decks you can make work in the game is incredible, it's just so much fun. One of my all time favorites is an exhaust deck with 1 or 2 wild strikes and 2 or 3 fire breathing with an evolve+, the goal being to get down to nearly wounds only.

Curses are hardcore, I like to use evolve with fire breathing so that I can just draw tons of wounds, which make me draw more wounds to draw more wounds till my hand is full. 😂
I could see battle trance doing wonders though if you did it with curses only.

The only thing that would've definitely improved this deck is a medkit, and maybe a dark embrace to give it more potential to be a bigger combo.
Yeah medkit would be HUGE for just about any wound exhaust build. There's a lot of potential for extreme abuse of fire breathing with evolve and dark embrace if you have a medkit.

It's VERY powerful if you use fire breathing and evolve. Those two are my bread and butter for status cards. I like to try and get 2 upgraded fire breathing cards with an upgraded evolve, then play power through a bunch as well as some wild strikes. If my entire deck consisted of just 2 upgraded power through cards, 2 upgraded fire breathing cards, an upgraded evolve, and 2 wild strikes, I'd probably be near immortal...
Add a couple feel no pain cards and an upgraded second wind, and I literally WILL be immortal!

Yep that'd be amazing, I prefer to go for a dazed build for that so that I don't have to worry about getting a medic kit, but that would be definitely a ton of fun. 😄

If you manage to get the right cards. I swear the game has it out for me. I never seem to get enough of what I need for any build. I'm sure I'm just playing it wrong. I love deck builders, but am so bad at playing them.
@@FireBowProductions Yeah it has all come together. Evolve, Power through, second wind, feel no pain, dark embrace - without most of these you are not going to win with that build.
Mostly, you should not try to look for a certain build to begin with, just pick cards that solve problems you have at that moment (for example good damage commons for Gremlin Nob, or scaling block for act 3 bosses), the synergies are going to come later in the game.
Wish you good luck, you'll get more experienced - also watching Streamers and trying to understand their decisions helps.
@@BedrockBlocker I usually play with a specific deck in mind, and I try to get it to work, but if the cards aren't in it for me (literally) then I just try to make do and use my game sense to understand what my deck needs just for me to live.

If you had one more dark embrace there is an infinite with playing reckless charge, havoc (exhausts dazed) and you draw 2 cards (reckless charge and havoc) off of the double dark embrace.
Dang I don't think I even found another dark embrace that entire run. Also I'm not really interested in infinites, I find them to be too repetitive. 😂
Had a crazy curse/status deck that also had strength, shield synergy and exhaust synergy which somehow was incredible and beat the heart without trouble it was amazing
It sounds like you hit the jackpot on one of the craziest decks possible... It's super hard to get even a few of those things in a single run.

Bro you’re on ascension 1 it’s easy mode
With that deck ascension wouldn't even make much of a difference. In fact, that run was probably a little too easy to get through cause of the deck...
I've played this game a lot, ascension is literally the most nothing in this game. A1 or A20 has no real difference, you'd die if your deck and relics suck.

Yes, you can die on Ascension 1. But its real easy compared with the rest of the game.
@@QilinsReverseScale no way it gets way harder on higher ascensions. Start lower health, enemies do more damage, heal less, harder enemy move sets. I could go on but all those make it even harder to have the right deck balance
At ascension 5 it's over for me. I can't see the sun anymore. I'll be finished by the third sector at the latest.
