Top 2 strongest arms in the game imo. Stafford is criminally underrated. People like to hate on him because of the lack of postseason success, but he's carried this franchise for the past 8 years with little to no help. He's a top 10 Qb and is borderline elite on his best days (like with how he played against the Chiefs, while injured too). He'd have won multiple Superbowls by now if he had a good team around him and had a good coaching staff. Patricia is finally starting to piece some of those things together.

I agree, Mahomes is a super star and the Lions had him rattled the whole game, off target and at some points it looked like Mahomes had almost given up hope on the game, it came down to the very end when there was 4th and 8 with 1:55 to go and Mahomes ran for that 8 yard first down, if it wasn't for that the Lions had the game in the bag.
I give the Lions more credit than any other team we faced this year, Mahomes wasn't on target today because the Lions played one fire hell of a game. It took everything from both teams to everything in the tank but in the 4th with 1:55 to to go the Lions let Mahomes run for that first down and I think that play really took the wind out of their sails and eventually they lost the game by that fraction of a play.
Even the announcer said "sick!" Between these kinds of plays and QBs doing more running these past few years we're seeing football as it was meant to be
I’ve been a Detroit fan since the day I was born and I haven’t seen them play with this much grit and heart in a long long time. The lose is a sad one, but I have tremendous hope moving into the bye week and for the rest of the season.

Lions fan here. Honestly the division title will be between the lions and bears. Viking bottom and green bay 3rd. I can easily see both teams sweeping the packers and vikings and maybe splitting against eachother. KC turned it over more than Detroit. That 100 yard fumble return was weird. Looking at it the linemen had a hold of the ball and was down but let it go and 21 took it and ran... how does that even work? Eh it is what it is and it was a good game.

I swear, the Lions have lost more games in the last 30 seconds than any other team in the NFL over the last decade - and I don't think it's even close. They have some insane bad luck. Outcome aside, the NFC should be on notice that this Lions team is a top-four team in the Conference.
from a lions fan view: I saw their pass rush being way more of an impact than ours. I saw Stafford outplay Mahomes as a pocket QB (the media is due to give props) but I saw Mahomes outplay staff as a playmaker and a scrambler and a game manager. I saw Kelce enter that Alpha takeover badge mode that we saw from Fitz in Arizona, that we don't seem to have from any of our veterans. Lions gave this game away, they won't get a ton of respect from the media because they will focus on what Mahomes didn't do, that's gonna be the upsetting thing, if Lions won this the media would have no choice but to give the Lions and Stafford a ton of respect. 2-1-1 just doesn't look that impressive dudes, disappointing loss but this is still a 10 win team the way they were playing. Damn, though.

Detroit Lions look like they're on the right track. It all hinges on their team building for the next year or three, whether they live up to their potential. Very impressed as a KC fan. That game was in doubt the whole way.

Lions fan here. Honestly the division title will be between the lions and bears. Viking bottom and green bay 3rd. I can easily see both teams sweeping the packers and vikings and maybe splitting against eachother. Just hope my lions keep up the stamina, they have been known to start great and fizzle halfway throuvhm nice to see bears are getting a rythm going, they may be 3-1 but werent really at the same caliber they were last year, its looking nice now, good luck this season!

I saw their pass rush being way more of an impact than ours. I saw Stafford outplay Mahomes as a pocket QB (the media is due to give props) but I saw Mahomes outplay staff as a playmaker and a scrambler and a game manager. I saw Kelce enter that Alpha takeover badge mode that we saw from Fitz in Arizona, that we don't seem to have from any of our veterans. Lions gave this game away, they won't get a ton of respect from the media because they will focus on what Mahomes didn't do, that's gonna be the upsetting thing, if Lions won this the media would have no choice but to give the Lions and Stafford a ton of respect. 2-1-1 just doesn't look that impressive dudes, disappointing loss but this is still a 10 win team the way they were playing. Damn, though.

i honestly hate the fact the NFL allows ties..why not just let the FG kickers do a 'kick off" if the OT ends in a tie? like have the kickers kick FG from the 10, 20,30 ect..until someone misses?..

As a Chiefs fan, I’m going to be rooting for the Lions to win the NFC North. I love the way your defense plays. Tenacious and aggressive. Best defensive display against Patrick Mahomes so far, and I’m counting the AFC Championship game last year. The only mistake you guys made was the same one we made in the previously mentioned game against Tom Brady. You gave Mahomes too much time to go clutch mode. Best of luck to you guys though.
