It'd be nice if they had a battery in them in case the power ever went out and you were using your Mini or Dot as an alarm clock, as the case suggests you are.
I use my standard Google Home as my daily alarm clock, so I could see the definite value in having a battery backup.
But your router will also be down when there's a power outage.
I'm wondering if the alarm will still work when your WiFi connection is gone.
Good question, I've never tried it without my internet connection or Wi-Fi being down.
Something to try.

it works without no internet for alarms but you cant set them because of no internet

Is there a way to have one speaker that's part of the "whole home" but only have control over its own room with having to "create a new home" example is I don't my guests to have access to my other devices through the guess room mini but still have access to lighting in the guest room

i used to have it stuck on the side of my desk, so that the speaker is pointed to my ear.. now that i changed rooms with my sister.. i have to find another way to prop it up.. so this case is the right thing at the right time 💚💚💚💚💚💚

They look so cool! Sadly for the amazon echo if you put the clock on it, it will sound bad so i suggest to use it without the clock

Hey brother , i need your help if you can do that , I'm a Muslim and i have five prayers per day, i want a method to make Google home notify me at the time of every pray . simply if you ask google by saying .,Ok google '' prayer time , she will tell you the times of the five prayers
Do you have the Routines section available? With this you can create a Routine for each prayer and there is an option where Google can say a specific phrase at certain time. This would allow for it to announce, "It's time to pray" at the designated times.
