The thing about Swedes not bragging is totally true, but more and more people here are slowly turning "American" because nowadays we can't even apply for a job without sending a perky video of ourselves. I guess Avicii would had related to Max Martin then, another swedish artist who became huge for his music and song writing but who hated the spot light and did not want the fame, he just wanted to make good music and make people enjoy. Sadly he took his own life shortly after he bcame famous. This is why most swedish artists almost always prefer to be modest, to just make music for the fun of it and while some do love the fame and spotlight they seem to never let it go to their head and continues to be humble and thankful for the people who appriciate their work.
