Mushroom gravy with hamburger steak and mashed potatoes !!!🤤

  • Mushroom gravy over hamburger and mashed potato’s
    Mushrooms
    1 Tablespoon Oil
    3 Tablespoon Butter
    1 tsp minced garlic
    2 cups Mushrooms (white/button or baby Bella’s)
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    Gravy
    2 tablespoons butter
    4 tablespoons flour
    1 can (14.5 oz) beef broth
    1/4 tsp pepper
    Salt to taste
    Mushrooms
    Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Then add butter and melt.
    Add the mushrooms to skillet. Then add salt and pepper. Cook for about 4 minutes and then add garlic. Cook until mushrooms are golden. Remove and put on plate.
    Gravy
    Lower heat to medium and melt butter in same skillet. Add flour and stir continuously for about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes so roux does not burn. While stirring, slowly add beef broth and whisk vigorously until combine.
    Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until it thickens. You don’t want it to burn.
    Add mushrooms back in and stir for about a minute. Taste and add salt if you need it.
