Well we always like to think so but you can never beat local knowledge so I'm happy to take input from anyone. Who know's, maybe I've shown Pete Sharpe something he might have missed doing
Scrapy Scrapy! I used to hate going through stuff like that, but defenders are built to go offroad and that's what we shall do with them. Looked like a beautiful trip.
wow i really liked watching this video would have loved to drive my l322 on this route I've done some off roading in my disco v8 and both my p38 v8s on hill rally's as a marshal . thanks for sharing your experience .
It sure is, ive done quite a few around chirk area and also a few in mid wales pheasant steps and one near aberdovey, over looking the estuary. If you dont mind me tagging along sometime that would be great. Cheers jon
Another great vid guys, do you let bikes tag along?? Ive riden alot of the lanes in your vids on my 660 Tenere. 400 mile days are easily done. Be nice to tag along with some like minded people. Im based in Rochdale. Keep up the awsome vids
We haven't before but I don't see why not and it would make for some different videos for me! The only problem would be the speed. We tend to trundle along pretty damn slowly. You'd probably get bored!
Tbh I think the slower speed and the time to take pictures and videos would be great, the usual enduro guys I ride with stop only to use the loo and fill there tiny fuel tanks lol. Where all you all based?
Some of those lanes don't look like vehicular rights of way. In the 5 years of laning I did in that area I never saw greenlanes (byways or RUPPS) that were that narrow/untouched.
Not entirely sure how you can tell from a few minutes of video. I understand them all to be UCR's and none of them were untouched and had clearly been driven. Just not frequently. However, I want to get it right and we don't purposely drive lanes we shouldn't so I'll re-research the route to double check. As an aside, I was in the Llangollen area at the weekend and with the combo of sun and rain many lanes were almost as overgrown in the space of a week that are thoroughfares for 4x4 traffic!
lowrangers2012 Gday Guys love your shows ,keep them coming . would like to know where to get the rims on the white 110 , I want them . have a good one , hope to here from you soon .
They are 16" ZU alloys. Quite a few people do them or versions of them, at least in the UK. Britpart have quite good prices but they seem readily available!
Another awsome track and video . From a defender fan here in the states . ...from Steve stott in sutherlin Oregon u.s.a.
these guys know where and where they can and cannot go, looks fantastic

One of the best weekend events I've ever done I think. Some brilliant lane planning (not by me)
Do you have a mapped route for these?

In the Northwest. Cheshire, Oldham. We lane a lot in Wales because it's close and brilliant!
