We really need a coffee table book for all the great art we have gotten for MOTU Origins. It’s truly the best packaging work since the action figure golden age of the 80s.

I just got this at ross for 14 bucks and its amazing ! And the blaster and radar dish can go ontop of point dread when you swich it out with the perch . Witch looks so cool on the castle ! And the ross ones dont have any black at the bottom so when you attach it to grayskull ,its not sooo obvious . This set is so cool for 14 bucks !

Awesome review! This looks amazing. I love how they’ve made improvements to it but still has the vintage feel. On the box art it looks like mini comic blonde Teela on Battle cat, I’ve been wondering if we would get her. Thanks as always for the great video!!

It was practically a guarantee that we would eventually be getting Point Dread and the Talon Fighter. Looks great; doesn’t seem like the figures fit inside of the cockpit quite as nicely as they should, but it’s doable. Did those instructions mention anything at all about being able to connect Point Dread to the top of Castle Grayskull? Because I didn’t notice anything on the back of the box that even says that it can be connected, which is quite surprising as it was the main selling point of the vintage set!
Yes, there was an image on the top of the box of the Talon Fighter sitting on Point Dread like I showed, or it can sit on top of the Origins catsule greyskull. I didn't show that illustration or overlooked it. The directions also show it on the back. I also didn't show that to save time on filming that stuff. That's why I just mentioned it can fit on the Origins greyskull, which I don't personally have. I was gonna put mine on top of the Classics as I did demonstrate, or it can be used alone on Point Dread if you didn't have a Greyskull or didn't want to put it up on it. Either way, it came out really cool for the Origins 👍

Great set! Just received it today. Had some QC issues on one side of the wing where it attaches. Other than that awesome looking. Had to use a trusty knife to be able to insert the wing
Great Origins Hauls! I'm glad to hear you got yours and really like it! Yes, I have had to modify my fair share of Toys and QC issues with stuff out of the box so many times as a collector. It's part of the hobby and complications with cheap and quickly manufactured parts. Most stuff is easy to fix if you take the time to do it. Thanks for sharing your toy haul updates👍
awesome set, cool that its a 2 seater...nice they re-released a classic looking Talon...I dont collect vehicles due to space, but I got 4 Talon fighters for $5 each in Wal-mart..the CGI, not classic looking, but its cool, it seems to blend well with other lines like Marvel Legends.

I already had it planned in my head to try both a classic and Masterverse figure in it. They do work, and it looks like a mini Talon Fighter with those figures. That Classics Talon Fighter is cool. But very large. The Classics greyskull should have been double the size to make it look right on top. I think the Origins Talon Fighter looks better to scale on it and will also look good on the Origins one as well. Hope all is well! 😁🤝

Yeah, that head fits the Origins He-man and looks much more like the vintage design. I'm not sure if that seller still makes the same ones. You can look on Ebay for Masters of the univese. Origins Custom heads in the search and see what's out there now! Sometimes, these custom heads take a couple of weeks to make and ship out once you buy and pay. All mine did!
Yeah that was complaint about the tower. They did a great job on the Talon Fighter. But the tower should have been taller to fit other figures such as Ram Man as you mentioned! Thanks for checking out this review and sharing your thoughts 👌
I hear ya, sometimes smaller is better. I ordered one from Amazon because the price was good, but delivery is getting pushed back for some reason... im guessing demand. Hey that large Talon Fighter you have would be great for a realistic film scale model, maybe that is what they were thinking.

The Big classics Talon Fighter is incredible looking and would probably look good in a realistic film with some special effects flying and animation. Buy it's really big and takes up a lot space! Bigger is not always better! I think that Origins Talon Fighter is just right with design and scale for the Origins. Hopefully you can get one to ship out soon👍
I don't have that catsule greyskull set. I have the Classics greyskull. But yes, I believe this was designed to fit that Origins catsule from what I was told in the comments. Thanks for watching 👌

I lost all my patience living a life of constant pain and debilitating symptoms, because of a pharmaceutical drug that should have never been given to me during surgery called Levaquin. Or flouraquinolone antibiotics. They have ruined thousands of life's. You can read online all about it. I lost or had to retire a good career of 21 years and take a cheaper disability pension. I was on the class action lawsuit for years and got nothing. So that's the short story of my chronic health problems. We both went to jail in different ways and didn't deserve it! I believe you! 👍
The 1 thing I hate about the entire toy collecting hobby is how only the earlier releases are remembered while everybody forgets the later releases. I never liked the Talon Fighter. I want a new Fright Fighter but we'll probably *NEVER* get one because it was a later release that most fans probably don't even remember or care about. If the Fright Fighter was released in wave 1 or 2 we would have a much better chance of getting a new one. Everybody always talks about the Battle Ram, Roton, Wind Raider & Talon Fighter but you never hear anybody ever mention the Fright Fighter. I'm probably the only one who mentions it. If we have a Talon Fighter that goes on top of Grayskull, why don't we have a Fright Fighter to go on top of Snake Mountain? This kind of thing annoys the piss out of me.
I guess it's what Mattel sees as popular or more recognized vehicles from the vintage days remastered. I would love to see so many things in the line, both vintage inspired or new. But these things today are very expensive to tool and manufacturer compared to the 80s. So much fan demand has to be there to make it work the wild to produce from a marketing standpoint!
If I had all that Classics stuff I wouldn't even waste my time or money on Origins or Masterverse. I wish I could get the Classics Snake Mountain. The vintage & Origins are way too small. If I wasn't disabled & could get a good paying job I'd get the Classics version. To hell with Origins.
I own most of the Classics line. I never thought I would get into the Origins or Masterverse figures and accessories. They bring something different, I guess, as far as nastalgia or something new. Sorry about your disability. I also have disabilitys. I suffer in constant pain and stiffness with Degenitive arthritis, lupus, and connective tissue disorder. It takes me days to put a review together because I can't sit up, stand, or lift much. My wife has to help and move the heavy stuff around. .

I like the ability to put the lazer cannon on the lower part of Point Dread. It actually adds some utility to that piece.

Where can we get that custom Origins He-Man head? it's a perfect copy of the vintage one and looks much better than the vintage-style head the new Origins figure comes with
Thanks for checking the review out. I bought that custom Origins head from a seller on eBay who made some at the time. Yeah, that head fits the Origins He-man and looks much more like the vintage design. I'm not sure if that seller still makes the same ones. You can look on Ebay for Masters of the univese. Origins Custom heads in the search and see what's out there now! Sometimes, these custom heads take a couple of weeks to make and ship out once you buy and pay. All mine did!

I hear ya, sometimes smaller is better. I ordered one from Amazon because the price was good, but delivery is getting pushed back for some reason... im guessing demand. Hey that large Talon Fighter you have would be great for a realistic film scale model, maybe that is what they were thinking.
Thanks for checking out this Talon Fighter review! Yeah this still a highly demanded Motu Origins piece! It's rare to find out places like Target. The Big classics Talon Fighter is incredible looking and would probably look good in a realistic film with some special effects flying and animation. Buy it's really big and takes up a lot space! Bigger is not always better! I think that Origins Talon Fighter is just right with design and scale for the Origins. Hopefully you can get one to ship out soon👍

Can this piece fit with the Masters of the Universe Origins Playset Castle Grayskull?
I don't have that catsule greyskull set. I have the Classics greyskull. But yes, I believe this was designed to fit that Origins catsule from what I was told in the comments. Thanks for watching 👌

Hello. I'm not sure where these will ship to in other countries once it's officially released. I'm surprised they never made the Battle Ram because of the jet sled being out. Yes, the Certain Masterverse and Classics figures can fit in the back seat , as I showed in my Talon Fighter review on this channels.

I lost all my patience living a life of constant pain and debilitating symptoms, because of a pharmaceutical drug that should have never been given to me during surgery called Levaquin. Or flouraquinolone antibiotics. They have ruined thousands of life's. You can read online all about it. I lost or had to retire a good career of 21 years and take a cheaper disability pension. I was on the class action lawsuit for years and got nothing. So that's the short story of my chronic health problems. We both went to jail in different ways and didn't deserve it! I believe you! 👍

The 1 thing I hate about the entire toy collecting hobby is how only the earlier releases are remembered while everybody forgets the later releases. I never liked the Talon Fighter. I want a new Fright Fighter but we'll probably *NEVER* get one because it was a later release that most fans probably don't even remember or care about. If the Fright Fighter was released in wave 1 or 2 we would have a much better chance of getting a new one. Everybody always talks about the Battle Ram, Roton, Wind Raider & Talon Fighter but you never hear anybody ever mention the Fright Fighter. I'm probably the only one who mentions it. If we have a Talon Fighter that goes on top of Grayskull, why don't we have a Fright Fighter to go on top of Snake Mountain? This kind of thing annoys the piss out of me.
I guess it's what Mattel sees as popular or more recognized vehicles from the vintage days remastered. I would love to see so many things in the line, both vintage inspired or new. But these things today are very expensive to tool and manufacturer compared to the 80s. So much fan demand has to be there to make it work the wild to produce from a marketing standpoint!
If I had all that Classics stuff I wouldn't even waste my time or money on Origins or Masterverse. I wish I could get the Classics Snake Mountain. The vintage & Origins are way too small. If I wasn't disabled & could get a good paying job I'd get the Classics version. To hell with Origins.
I own most of the Classics line. I never thought I would get into the Origins or Masterverse figures and accessories. They bring something different, I guess, as far as nastalgia or something new. Sorry about your disability. I also have disabilitys. I suffer in constant pain and stiffness with Degenitive arthritis, lupus, and connective tissue disorder. It takes me days to put a review together because I can't sit up, stand, or lift much. My wife has to help and move the heavy stuff around. .
