Let me explain a little, Michael Bisping suffered from a detached retina, but after finishing his career, he made himself a prosthetic eye. But the main point is that he, being half-blind in one eye, became the UFC champion
And he got the prosthetic eye because, as he himself explains, everything that could go wrong with an eye injury went wrong and his retinal detachment degenerated into glaucoma and he eventually decided to just get the fake eye
The fight is not against the flesh, but against the rulers, powers, princes of darkness, and the hosts of wickedness that dwell in the heavenly places.
As someone who’s nose bone is currently completely to the right and have a deviated septum I hope you never have to experience it bc it’s hard to breathe out the right side of my nose.
@@Soham.69 honestly no. After seeing the aftermaths of the surgeries I would need to get I’ve decided that it’s best to leave it as it is. I’ve lived with a deviated septum since I was 3, my mom said I fell off a play mat and smacked the wooden floor hard as shit and I’ve had my nose bone literally curved to the right since 8th grade, got a forearm to the nose playing basketball. Honestly the only way I would see myself getting one of these surgeries is if I wanted to have a perfect nose again which I ain’t worried about what my nose looks like.
3:36 I was there live watching it from the nosebleeds. The snap was so loud, you could hear it across the arena. And please do more MMA videos! It was a fun watch
As someone who recently only sprained my ankle seeing the connor injury again and the weidman injury gave me chills given i have a vague understanding of the pain

1:36 i actually got that injury from punching one of those padded walls in school gyms about half force in 4th grade, atleast for me i didn't hurt that much a day after but during it hurt really bad
Bro thanks for explaining that mma and various other sports about boxing are dangerous, I wanted to become a boxer but saw this video and changed my mind
I'm glad the video was helpful to you. It's important to understand the risks involved in any sport, especially contact sports like MMA and boxing. If you're passionate about boxing or any other sport, make sure to take proper precautions, get trained by professionals, and always prioritize your safety. There are many ways to stay involved in sports without putting yourself at unnecessary risk.
Don't give up bro, there's been 300+ ufc fights and no one has died in the octagon, boxing has a lot more fighters like around 100k+ so there's more casualties but barely any deaths in the ring.
As a doctor you must not be able to condone this behavior as its intention but as a human being you just can’t help but watch. The floppy leg and fractured skull were horrifying to see. Great video.
I snapped my humerus a couple of weeks before my 11th birthday. I can't even remember much of the pain at the time of the injury, but I remember the pain of rolling over in my sleep onto the arm 😂
Well, in episode 4 there is the scene of the massacre that Uzi does and a battle of Uzi vs V, in episode 6 when the protagonists are chased by some robotic velociraptors and Uzi is being tortured by some very carnibalistic robots and in episode 7 when tessa almost kills uzi and N kills tessa and when N and nori fight against solver uzi and when something grabs tessa and doll's corpse and makes a strange combination of a human robot
I'm a person who simply trains kickboxing in his spare time, just because i love the sport, and workout aspect, and i have thought about fighting professionally at times, but when i think or see injuries like these, that urge goes away 😂😂, huge respect to the people that do this as a career
Please react to more sports injuries such as hockey, football, basketball, etc, it would be so interesting to hear from a professional medical stand point about the injury themselves, but also things like recovery, if the player would be able to play again and the advice you'd give them going forward
I'd definitely like to see more of these. The shin snapping on that guy's knee actually made me wince a little. I always like seeing a good head kick land. If you could set it up, I bet these would make for a great collaboration project with Dr. Raynor Not Your Everyday Ortho, too.
Spot on with Connors leg break. He had a micro fracture beforehand and completely broke it when his kick either hit Dustin's elbow or hip I can't exactly remember.
Not from fighting or sports, but I've had a tib/fib fracture with a ruptured Achilles as the cherry on top. Between the surgeries, recovery, and rehab, it's not a great way to spend a year and a half.
I have indeed played something similar to Rock 'em Sock 'em robots: Karate Fighters by Milton Bradley. It is like Rock 'em Sock 'em robots, but with kicking also added in. Still have the game with me too.
Bro like “ahhh that was a hard punch to the face, so you’re probably gonna have a facial injury, maybe a nasty cut to the globus maximus, maybe a headache after too and maybe a concussion.”
Hi doc im love ur videos because its very informative and interesting. I think this is off topic for the video, but can you react on anime "made in abbys" (i know its very blody and scary but im think its interesting to see it from medical point) srry im bad at english :(
I remember my mom n her psrtner checking the fights on tv and they saw it happen, then i went to check the tv and saw it too... Geez THAT was something... 😱😰 (Make it worse i never broke a bone in my life so it adds an extra layer of fear to it)
The fractured shin, or as it was called by many at the time "going full Gumby", was one of the worst injuries I had ever seen. Coincidentally, this same injury involved one of the same people. First, Chris Weidman assisted in causing it to Anderson Silva, and then later on Chris suffered the same from Uriah Hall. The actual worst injury I've seen would have to be MVP's flying knee to Evangelista Santos's head, however that injury was not sustained in the UFC but actually in Bellator. Also if I remember right, the cauliflower ear explosion suffered by Leslie Smith led to her ear being partially detached due to it rupturing. I remember that she wanted to continue fighting despite the damage.
Ok so in the very beginning clip showing what will happen later in the video I love how he just says fractured shin when the dudes foot is literally flopping around like jello :/
Apologies for the re-upload! Unfortunately, the original video had some issues. However, I might have snuck in a bonus knockout that wasn't in the first video, so make sure to watch to the end! 😎👍

As a doctor you must not be able to condone this behavior as its intention but as a human being you just can’t help but watch. The floppy leg and fractured skull were horrifying to see. Great video.
The first clip of the guy throwing a kick only for his leg to disintegrate instead of his opponents gave me whiplash.
Can you make a video about the most craziest and scariest knockouts in the UFC? and explain the possible dangers about it. And it´s a exelent video
