n163 hand-drawn guitar moment ...also, why do like, all of your songs go so heavy on the 2a03 and n163/vrc6??? Seriously, what are your inspirations? I genuinely wanna know.
90% of the music I listen to is various metal so I'm pretty influenced by that. The band Satan is probably the most noteworthy. In terms of chiptune inspirations my biggest ones are probably Jake Kaufman, nu11, HertzDevil, Rushjet1, and various Mega Man/MMX soundtracks. At this point I channel most of my songwriting impulses through chiptune because it feels relatively easy and convenient, given that I've used Famitracker for around 8 years. Plus I don't really have the patience to learn an instrument. But I do think that filtering certain genres through chiptune can make them more interesting and unique in a way. HertzDevil's stuff for example feels more intense than most "actual" metal despite being made in NES restrictions.
This is a "shop theme" entry called "Totally Not Cursed Relics?"
It sounds more like the menu or results music for a racing game to me. And I love it.
Before 1:10, an action packed intro maybe for a fighting game
After 1:10, a boss theme for an egyptian pharaoh in a Mario game
that's some really cool namco 163 guitar waveforms there
holy fuck that n163 guitar
This is one of the best songs I’ve heard
This is amazing!
feels like I should be hucking daggers at gremlins in a haunted clocktower
Yeah, these relics better NOT be cursed or *_I'M GONNA SUE YOU._*
Thank you very much for sharing.
ROCK FUCKIN' ROLL
This sounds like something that'd fit in Golden Sun :3
