Danners are the best! I have the bull run moc toe and round toe, and a pair of steel toe rats from my marine days. I keep wanting to buy other brands but I just love these boots.

For 190.00 and free shipping iwould have bought new ones . Mine usually only take a week or so to break in
We must not forget that the white sole at Danner is designed for indoor use and is not recommended for sweeping on asphalt.
Dope. I have like 8 pair of Danner’s and I’ve never used that service, but I’ve been wanting to try it for my Mountain Light boots.
Man I just purchased these boots, and very interested to see how they hold up at work day to day. I come from wearing thorogood for a long time now. Still happy with thoro I just needed a change and like to try new product sometimes. Hope they do well, looks like yours did.

you can buy a new pair for $142 right now and sure every year is same.....I know new boots suck but having couple of pair is always nice as you can break new ones in slowly

You should try the slip on Danner bull runs 6 inch those are super comfortable! I have these boots in the video also they are the best damn boots

That’s cool but the price of the rebuild is just about how much they cost brand new... I will say having a second pair of boots makes them last much longer.

What model of Danner boot is this? I have the Bull Run, and really like it so far. I would definitely get them recrafted when the time is right. Can you post the link for me where you can see them before the recrafting ?

How long did you have these for before you recrafted ?and what type of torture did you put them trough including miles and weather condition?
I had them for around 3 Years, keep in mind I only where these 3 day a week or less. Always switching boots depending the job. Its a good hot weather boot. Dirt, rocks, concreate nothing crazy. Still my favorite boot of all time. Thank you Leohthelion!

@@DURTYMAXLML are they good on slippery surfaces ? Work around a lot of oil and have to climb on roofs and ladders.

I wear a size 12 in all the Danner boots! They fit perfect. I’m a 12d in All other shoes but Thorogoods I need a wife for some damn reason?

lol you paid $170 for used $180 boots that aren't even worth reconstructing. There's a reason they're cheap to begin with.
I've tried many boots more expensive, but nothing compares to these Danner's. I didn't buy a used boots I reconditioned my old boots. And if you've ever broken a boot in, you know it takes about a month or so. I will gladly recondition These Boots once again to avoid a break-in period. I do have four other boots different brands that I rotate. My Red Wings are my number two.
I have these as my backup pair to my Franks boots! I end up only wearing them for a month or two out of the year when I have my Franks re soled or worked on. I can definitely see my one-two combo between the two last me at least a decade! The only flaw in the bull runs is that the heal counter cover is fabric but Danner will replace the counter and counter cover if you get the premium recrafting package. If you are taking care of your boots and making sure you have the right boots for the job a boot like this should definitely last many years if taken care of properly.
