Monsta X is 3rd gen. They are known as the beast idols and monster conquerors of Kpop. They are individually highly skilled group of artists. Alot of groups are inspired and aspired to be like them because of their great performances. Thank you for checking them out. I recommend Who Do U Love MV from their first full English Album, All About Luv and Gambler MV the first title track produced by their main rapper Joohoney(the one who sings like MJ) oh and btw this Love MV is his third produced title track. They write lyrics of their songs too. Their music discography is effin AMAZING. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Monsta X fandom is called "monbebe", which is French for "my baby", basically. They're third gen and have been together for seven years. There are actually six members (peep the number of microphones at the end of the video). Their leader, Shownu, is currently completing mandatory military service.
BTW, they put on an absolutely incredible live show. They performed for two and a half hours at the Detroit concert, no opening act. They have had a darker, more mature sound than most kpop groups pretty much from their debut.

Monsta x consists of 6 members Shownu (leader, lead vocalist, main dancer) who is currently inactive due to enlightenment in the military, Minhyuk (sub vocalist, visual), Kihyun (main vocalist), Hyungwon (sub vocalist, visual, center, sub rapper, lead dancer), Joohoney (main rapper, sub vocalist), and I.M. (lead rapper, sub vocalist, maknae). They were created through the survival program No.Mercy. The boys debuted on May 14, 2015 with Starship Entertainment they’re also under the US label Maverick Agency as of 2019. Also in 2019 following controversies the former member Wonho announced his departure from the group. Their name unlike what most think isn’t referring to "monster" but to the French expression " Mon Sta" which translates into "my star" in English the X stands for infinite possibilities. The fandom Monbebe translates to "my baby" in French.
All this but they did say they're the monsters of Kpop.

They debuted in 2015, so 3rd gen, originally with 7 seven members - currently they are performing as 5 because Shownu(leader) is in the military right now and Wonho left the group at the end of 2019 to protect their image after being wrongfully accused - when his innocence was proven he came back as a soloist and he is freaking killing it
