I find the conspiracy theories below entertaining. The guy said an average $58/pack value. I want anyone who purchases this repack to comment in this thread what you pull. TCG Player market value pricing. Comments will speak for themselves in one week's time.
Again, I don't recommend purchasing from any seller that appeared on the channel or purchasing repacks in general.

So that Billy Ripken card is the censored card. If you look at the bottom of his bat he is holding, Fleer added a black box. His teammates wrote “F*** Face” on it as a joke and the card was printed before Fleer caught the issue. The original card is somewhat valuable but the corrected card you received is just cool because it has a funny story behind it
There's like 7 different versions of it too.
There are few different variants of the Billy Ripken card.. you have the “black box” version.. the black box was placed there because there was curse words in the 1st print run

Heyyy... so he took the listing down after I bought, but...
Pack 44 was worth $45.49 with top cards Phyrexian Tower, Goblin Bombardment, and Ashnod's Altar.
Pack 88 was worth $86.35 with top cards Verdant Catacombs and Reconnaissance.
dunno if anyone has mentioned this yet, but that bill ripken card is the censored version of an original printed card. look at the bottom of his bat, there is a black censor bar. for... reasons. look it up

well, considering you're a popular mtg youtuber, there's the chance the picks were not random at all. He maybe selected the good ones to pilot his listing. It's not hard to guess who's buying by checking his shipping address

I didn't know people bought repacks expecting value. I've only ever bought one because I needed bulk and didn't want to go entirely without rares.

good tip to remember, revised cards have no date stamp but 4th and 5th edition did.
I got one. We'll see how it goes. If i make 80% cost ill have had better luck than I have with boosters lol

I do trust you, but I don’t trust the seller, did he know who you were when you bought these, or did you have someone else buy them for you?
He has multiple ebay accounts so unless this guy somehow knows all of JM’s account they wouldn’t know
@@MintyMagicMTG not really. if he sold him a repack before, saw it opened on channel, and got an order from the same name (5 isn't really a lot), then he could have easily known it was for JM. good notion, but not flawless
I have a feeling he intentionally mailed you good cards because if it's all garbage he gets bad publicity and bad feedback. Also it might affect his sales in a negative way. So for him to lose a little to gain a lot. Why not!!!???

I started in dominaria pre release I did a pre release draft pulled a teferi in the pre release kit had a ton of fun and moved on to commander and havent looked back at any other formats

I can also confirm that the packs are legit. This seller is pretty awesome! I got a demonic tutor and a cyclonic rift as my big two I think in that pack. Then the commons and in commons had some sweet stuff as well like skirge familiar, eldrazi temple, pre release scheming symmetry!

I figure if you're going to chance repacks for entertainment then 1 ever month or even every other month is ok more than that you're going to lose more then the entertainment value IMO good luck in future repacks VTW

I would have no complaint if I opened that. From someone who's purchased as many repacks as I have, that's way above average. 95% of repack sellers you can expect a 50-90% loss. I'm curious what others received.

Pretty likely, it's a common "scam" to send influencers a pack with good value to convince a few people in the audience to buy one themselves

It probably got removed because of all the attention. These types of listings are 100% against eBay's rules. Any "chance or lottery" listing is not allowed. Content creators are doing no help buy supporting and giving these types of listings attention. Should be like Rudy says, stay away from all of these they are scams.

It can, depending on print run and set. Foreign cards used to be the fancy versions before foils were around.
