In regards to Roaring Rupture negating a shockwave stun it comes from hitting your ability before they hit the shockwave meaning you gain the uninterruptible buff which is a full across the board Movement impairment Imunity (slow, root, stun). you said in the video you werent sure what cause the shockwave to not stun so just in case you hadn't figured it out yet thought I'd let you know. it is a 5 second buff so you can make great use of it to prevent people from interrupting an Relentless Rush (RR weapon perk cleanses on activation not during the ability so you can get staggered or rooted out of it if you arent careful). uninterruptable is kinda overpowered IMO but I feel like people havent figured out how it works yet. Thanks for this! I've been looking for a reason to come back and Heal and this is it. I've geared myself to a kind of basic standard to support this and spent some time in OPR today - definitely it is "working" but I will say that it is the cooldowns on the GS abilities that feel a bit scary, ie if you pop all 3 (quite likely to have done in a big escape scenario) it feels like a LONG time until one comes back. (I don't have BIS items for this build so only have a couple of refreshing evasion and one or two refreshing.)
Great guide I was trying hatchet but I don't really love it, because it doesn't have allot of defensive options. I'm gonna try this tongiht but I see that some of the skills are changed like "Wary Posture'' do you plan to update the build or can you give a quick rundown what we should take this season?

But the guys persuaded me to go to the fresh server and I'm back in business. I looked at your masterpiece as always :) And it became interesting, as I said, I missed a lot already in the game, but I got carried away with new perks and glass. And what if with your assembly, to make a mega peeling. Insert stones to absorb dmg and transfer it from each armor to 1% peeling, perk to Dodge with health recovery. Well, then I think you can tell me. Is it worth stirring up or not. If so, what to add. Maybe there is something to increase the incoming peeling. Thanks in advance Bro.

Help: Greatsword's Roaring Rupture when used and Intimiating Roar activitates (5seconds of uninteruptable), this buff goes away when switching to lifestaff.
So the only reason you do Roll Counter-cancel Roll Relentless Rush is if you have Energizing Counter, right? Otherwise i assume you dont need to do the Counter-cancel.
Nice video and very good explanation! But what is the purpose of this build: your are neither a DD or a healer for the group since you use the cds for yourself to keep alive...
@@LemoniGames nope I disagree. With rapier ppl try to escape or at least keep distance afterwards immediately heal the group. But this one means stay at point and survive, more or less like a tank. As mentioned the heal is used mainly for surviving not for group healing, eg. Sacred Ground. Anyway thank you for the inspiration :)

The problem with the calamity counter is that it can be broken if anough people hit it. Also in 1v2 feels extremely more weak than rapiers riposte. I feel like it should knock back only w one hit instead of three, im fine w it being broken but its stupid that they have to hit 3 times for it to be remotely useful. (Apply knock back)
Wha do you think about the spears 30% stam rec while under 50% ?, is it good for speed ? i'm a pvp healer, i've been running spear with all the stun and gap close moves .
The only life staff that I want more than my Blessed/Refreshing Move/Sacred Ground, would be to Swap in Mending Protection over Sacred. That being said, I find sacrificing Blessed or Refreshing Move unplayable.
Do you have any clips of getting chased by light melee, schizos, or GS? That's generally the biggest threats in war (and not the spear at the end schizos are SnS/hatchet or bb/wh)

The "mobility" is the worst of the greatsword, the only thing that makes it good is if you have the perk that removes root, but fleche is a much better mobity skill still
Here comes all the kids crying for a nerf. Literally the forums are just flooded with every weapon is OP. GS is on the list for like 4 different builds.. RIP GS next patch.
I was using it since first day, this is true not many using, because Hatchet is better than this, hatchet with improved social distance skill. GS is cool to play, fun to play, but smart assasin will kill you much faster than with hatchet.
all i see are clips proving that healing is to strong in the game and needs to be balanced better. Watching 20 people hit a person with 100 con and that person isnt dying is absolutely obnoxious and needs to be adjusted.

I play with coordinated groups and people who specifically have plague on there weapons to cut healing. and healers can just stand there and have there heals cut and not die. Our weapons have attunement and thwarting strikes or trenchant heavy's. We do the dmg just a healer can out heal alot of stuff.
@@Gipo I dont plan to uninstall but when a healer can sit there an emote while 5 lvl 60's plague and beat on them and not even try an dodge ill continue to hold the opinion that healing is way to strong. Stay toxic my friend thou it will surely benefit you in life.
@@LemoniGames Im telling you i seen way to many situations of a healer being stunned stuck in a gravwell and they dont just die. They survive the cc and begin self healing through 5+ players. But my experience in new world seems to be drastically different then yours.

Cause so far, trust me, when I see the healer, he is down in 10 seconds max, no matter what he wear. Most of you guy can not use greatsword properly, the same as other weapons. Its easy to make killer build with various of different weapons.

I'd recommend Roaring rupture on the weapon for more assistance to the team with slowing people more.

I was thinking that GS would replace Rapier when I played it in the PTR, but since I'm not a healer I didn't use it myself

For a OPR it is good and fun but please healer out there dont use it in war! :)

this greatsword remind me old greataxe. Fucking braindead weapon for people who are cripple in mind.
IG or VG is meta atm, not GS. it's possible to use GS outside fort in wars but honestly even gaxe or warhammer are better options
