I got a weird feeling from this video that Alex don’t want to sing anymore - he just wants to tell stories while the music is playing in the background.
The AM-style vocals are still there, IMO. Slow TBHC style is almost gone, which is not a bad thing, I prefer when he sings older songs in a faster tempo, just like they meant to be sung originally.
