- In a recent interview with the Hollywood reporter the mega star, once Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke about why he is done with the Terminator franchise. Growing up Terminator 2 was one of my top ten vhs, I practically wore the thing out, even at a young age I could tell the movie was something special and in no small part due to the larger than life action star. What is your favorite Terminator film?
T1 gets the edge over T2 for me. I like the horror vibe of the first a little more over the action blockbuster direction of the sequel.
Over the years i’ve definitely grown to appreciate T1 more because of the horror vibe and it’s darker tone, growing up I always went to T2 probably because I couldn’t get over how cool the action and the special fx were for the time
Arnold isn't putting it to rest. They put him to rest because of how bad the last movie tanked and lost money. Arnold hasn't been a draw in the box office in 20 years. That's why he takes all roles he can get.

For me it's T-2, Terminator, Salvation, T-3, Dark Fate and at the very end, Genysis.

Yeah, Terminator is definitely done, he should retire from it, if i’m being honest I still wouldn’t mind seeing him as King Conan though if they did it right and were able to make it work somehow

Yeah, Stallone is another one, love Rocky, love Rambo but dude is getting up there in age to be believed sometimes, unless he does more mentorship roles and passes the torch it’s definitely iffy
