Masi then did the right decision of letting the cars through but did it so unreasonably late even after saying that they weren't allowed to
Regardless, that was the rule and Max would have been behind Lewis regardless of Masi's existence

So cute that you believe that they were actually going to allow "rigged racing" to take place if Lewis pitted and ended up behind max. 🤣 Mercedes did absolutely everything right with Lewis on Sunday with reference to the rules/procedures that were unfortunately bypassed at end the race.
So Massi screwing up the rule book and Mick Schumacher causing 2 safety cars in the last 2 races both times benefitting Max's title chances is OK with you?
If Lewis pitted and lost track position Massi would have finished the race behind the safety car and Max would have won that way.
Mick Schumacher did his bit to stop Lewis from becoming the outright 8 times championship winner and he also preserved daddies joint 7 titles.
45 years a fan so I know what I'm talking about. The season was all about a new champion whatever the cost.
F1 is no longer a sport, it media circus designed around "high drama" for the new American market. Sadly money talks.
@@darrenjantjies9027 if you go back and listen to the audio near the end of the race Lewis’s race engineer actually tells him in advance what is going to happen, as it has been standard procedure all year. They had an opportunity to pit on multiple occasions and chose not to and ultimately, regardless of any decisions by the FIA, the Mercedes teams decisions are what sealed their fate. Oh and let’s not talk about the lap 1 incident where Lewis gained a 1.2 second advantage by going off track.

Mercedes totally ballsed up their tire strategy. If you recall, Lewis had a battle with his race director almost every single race about tire strategy. He could easily have pitted under safety car and kept the win, but oh no, not Mercedes. I hope Bottas sticks it hard to them next year, they totally cast shade on him as a quality driver and team mate. Kind of telling that he was nowhere and did nothing to help Sir Lewis in this race.....

The season has been thrilling and very interesting finally the dominance of mercedes benz has over for now, am saying for now because this "Soft restart" with the new car and regulations will "Level" the playing field, also i'll hope than checo finish the next season in a better position in the overall for silence gasly, is truth than checo do bad qualifies, but once he gains consistency and rythim he can put a fight, gasly failed in his moment in red bull racing and what position in the overall as ended, much below than checo, of course than have the backing of rosberg and other group of consolidated racers than want him in RB, but he failed in his moment, at least what he can do is finish in a higher position than checo. all of this talking from his part is futile if he don't back up his claims with results.
