I enjoy and find value and helpful tips in all of your videos.I really like the way you rotate different types. My favorite and most loved kitchen items are my set of cast iron frying pans in different sizes that I inherited from my Grandmother and have used for over 40 years.

Please post more of the favorite and practical items that you like around the home to make life easier and more simple. I use my cast iron skillets daily. I store them in the oven or simply on stove top as they are too heavy to move around. Very practical for stove and oven.

@@ScandishHome Oh yes! I love using mason jars! I just ordered another set of quart size and half gallon size. I love how it looks, and it makes making a shopping list so much easier, because I can see exactly what I have and what I need to buy. The roll up dish rack has been wonderful. I have a dishwasher, but have only used it twice in a year. I just hand wash our dishes, and let them drip dry on the rack over the sink. It's so much nicer than using some big clunky dish rack. Hello, Naomi. You asked us to tell you about our favourite kitchen items. My favourite items are the several different size lazy Susans I have placed in some of my cupboards and on one of my refrigerator shelves. I have two in one of my cupboards. One of them has all my oils on it. And the other one has all our popcorn and popcorn spice on it. It is so convenient to open the cupboard door and instead of reaching behind a lot of bottles of oil, I simply spin the Lazy Susan and wait for my oil to come to me. The one in my fridge is used to hold almond milk, coconut milk and other special drinks. It's working out very well for us.
I have never really thought about the silicon baking cups as a space saver. Adding them to my Christmas wish list and donating the space hog muffin pans!

I make soup sometimes twice a day ...vegetables ..water ..a couple of stock cubes ...25mins later it's ready and liquidises at the end of the cooking cycle if you want a creamed smooth soup ....or not if you want a chunky soup ....it's brilliant .....😋
My favorite and most used kitchen item is a silicone lid. It looks like a Lily pad. I use it on top of a bowl of soup I am heating in the microwave. If I am unable to eat all the soup, I put the same lid back on the bowl and place it in the refrigerator. When I fry my red bell peppers in my little fry pan I use the same silicone lid. I have considered buying a second one, but I talked myself out of it because as a minimalist I try not to have duplicate items or spend money unnecessarily.

I don't like to have a dish rack out either. I used to have a sink rack at the bottom of the sink until I moved and the sinks were too shallow 😩 Thanks for sharing your favorites and inspiring us to use less ❤❤❤

Thank you so much for this video Noemi. I have been waiting for one like this because I’ve been wanting to buy the silicone cups and the dish Matt especially. Where do you get the paper liners for the silicone cups? What type are they and what are they called? Also, my favorite kitchen utensils are my wooden spoons for cooking. I like the ones that have an angle and it’s hard to find those to purchase by themselves. They usually come in a group with other wooden utensils. Are the cupcake holders safe ? I'm nervous about silicone. What do you have on your glasses? Is it like paper covers like at hotels? Great idea if so. I love my cast iron skillet and bread pan. Oh and yeah I have a spritzer for lemon juice I use for salmon that I like too.
Are you asking about what's on the shelf behind me? Those are plastic lids to my jars.😊 I keep my spices and other little dried goods in them. Cast iron bread pan is the best! About the silicone I feel the same way there's not enough research so I feel better if I lined them with paper but only for baking I think they are fine to use with gelatin and other cold yummy things 😃
A lot longer as it would be in the plastic. Herbs are look fresher and home made coconut milk is good for a week it really depends on the food but they are doing much better in the glass then in the plastic!😊
I can only use Seventh Generation Free and Clear version as I am EXTREMELY chemically sensitive. All other brands of liquid dish detergent claimimg to be free of all dyes and fragrances have made me very ill even if they appear to be colorless in the bottle. So much added or masking fragrances, especially in the Palmolive brand. And I cannot even be near any Dawn brands--awful/too toxic for me!

Also, my favorite kitchen utensils are my wooden spoons for cooking. I like the ones that have an angle and it’s hard to find those to purchase by themselves. They usually come in a group with other wooden utensils. But hopefully I can find one because mine is deteriorating. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you at the Scanfair! 🙂

Are the cupcake holders safe ? I'm nervous about silicone. What do you have on your glasses? Is it like paper covers like at hotels? Great idea if so. I love my cast iron skillet and bread pan. Oh and yeah I have a spritzer for lemon juice I use for salmon that I like too.
Are you asking about what's on the shelf behind me? Those are plastic lids to my jars.😊 I keep my spices and other little dried goods in them. Cast iron bread pan is the best! About the silicone I feel the same way there's not enough research so I feel better if I lined them with paper but only for baking I think they are fine to use with gelatin and other cold yummy things 😃

How long does the food stay fresh in the jars? I like your ideas.
A lot longer as it would be in the plastic. Herbs are look fresher and home made coconut milk is good for a week it really depends on the food but they are doing much better in the glass then in the plastic!😊

I can only use Seventh Generation Free and Clear version as I am EXTREMELY chemically sensitive. All other brands of liquid dish detergent claimimg to be free of all dyes and fragrances have made me very ill even if they appear to be colorless in the bottle. So much added or masking fragrances, especially in the Palmolive brand. And I cannot even be near any Dawn brands--awful/too toxic for me!
