this is what i found about the mimicer's origin | Steve was minding his bussines gathering logs but an Black Alien parasite from the caves has entered Steve's body wich Caused Deformation and changes in Steve's body and appearnce, As the days progresses Steve's limbs would become unnaturaly long. and the Parasite has spread through Steve's nervous system and Brain keeping him alive, Steve painfully conscious and aware. his face would get exagurated Features like an inhuman Smile and bigger eye sockets, the parasite is very hostile and made him kill his pet and friends, he is in pain but cant do anything
