Video idea ! A 24h hour readathon, but relay style. You're two person and you can stop as long as the other takes the relay to read. Per exemple, you catch a nap while the other person reads and vice versa, but one person always have to be reading! (Maybe you could even push it to a 48h goal.) Anyway, sounds fun to watch!

There is something called skimming You can read fastly by just looking at the most important words in a line and you get the ideas She can also skip the useless phrases in dialogues (she said, he said....)

I don't skim or skip anything; I just don't subvocalize which allows me to "block" words together (i.e. if my eyes can physically see 4 words at once, then I don't need to individually look at and interpret each word on their own - I can read the 4 words in once glance, and then the next 4, and then the next, etc.) 🤷 nothing wrong with someone who *doesn't* read that fast of course, but just bc something is incomprehensible to one person doesn't mean it's not possible for someone else!!
