I completely forgot that Johnny was from the past before Cassie so I kinda got surprised when he said “he dies so does your little girl”
Well, yeah. Past Johnny dying means Sonya doesn't get preggers, meaning Cassie disappears because she was never born. It happens to Jackie Briggs in her ladder ending. She uses the hourglass to prevent Jax from ever getting killed by Sindel, which means he never becomes a revenant and recovers, meeting her mom.
plus he forgot to mention that not only does cassie get removed from existence but so does the older johnny cage if the younger one does so actually three of them would be dead, the younger johnny, older johnny and cassie

Its actually a terrifying fate for Kano, young Kano died instantly from the gunshot, so his pain lasted a second, older Kano's lasted at least a minute
It took him about 20 to 21 seconds to totally dissolve after his younger self was shot.

Kano made a HUGE mistake there by reminding Sonya about the rules of a time paradox when he threatened Johnny AND thus threatening Cassie at the same time. That was what basically sealed his fate, besides the fact whatever Sonya did to past Kano in terms of pain affected him, and that's why he was desperate to threaten Johnny and Cassie, only for that decision to lead Sonya to kill past Kano, thus making the time paradox that killed him in the present. We didn't even see much of this in the main story, but we do see it in Aftermath after Shao Kahn breaks past Liu Kang's legs and it affects his Revenant self too.
That, and the fact that he stopped shooting his minigun when young Sonya came out of cover and not having plot armor.
Or the fact he just didnt shot. Sonya with is laser eye the moment sonya pulled the gun out

Holy crap, damn, I'm surprised Cassie didn't lose her arm getting shot by that thing. I don't know much about guns, but that caliber had to have been really huge!
I'm no big specialist in guns, but I do live in a place which is (almost) literally a war zone, I know by certain experience that a flying bullet shot from AK-47 Kalashnikov, FAL 762 or M16 assault rifles can dish out HUGE damage. For example, if such bullet hits on a person's shoulder, their entire arm is blown off, a bullet which hits the neck/throat results in a gruesome decapitation, and so on.

I still think Kano deserves to get a W. He's not the posterboy of the franchise, but he is one of the OGs. He is evil, but no tyrant. He has finesse and tact and a boatload of charisma.. to the right people. He a brute, yet knows how to navigate deals. Out of all the evil characters I think he's the least "bad for everyone" else. Even in his non-canon ending of having the power of the Hourglass.. he actually quickly realizes that a fair game is much more entertaining. He accepts losses because they make the victories all the sweeter.
So yeah, I think Kano deserves a W.
Then pick him in your next fight and win. Simple as that. 😂

1- cassie has two pistols, shoots over 500 rounds per scene without reloading
2- cassie gets hit by a fuckng Gattling, is still alive when her arm shouldve been ripped off
3- Sonya evades over 18 bullets, when Neo evaded 3 and got even hit by 1 of them, and that was in a VR enviroment
4- Gattling gun gets overheated when the rotating barrels are made not to overheat
5- Truck takes over 5000 bullets from a gattling, tires and rearlights are ok.
6- blows kanos skull away, kano still on feet walking around before doing a Thanos
Its Mortal Kombat, people's spine gets ripped out and they get up a few seconds later, nothing has to make sense with logic in this.
