This is absolutely nuts. In each of your arrangements I'm always thinking, how the heck can a single person, with only two hands, and a single piano, play such an elaborate piece so faithfully. This is mad.

I agree I have been playing the piano since I was a child and I like this piece, but in my opinion it is not suitable for the piano in the same way as Schindler list. Of course they can be played, but for me it sounds poor... What makes Patrik's videos special is his control of volume for the rhythm notes and melody. Starting off mezzo-forte and introducing the melody in forte, leaving space to boost both to forte and fortissimo respectively. I'm amazed at how he has mastered this.
This is by far the most difficult song I've ever played. Thus it's even more astonishing that you play this song in pure perfection with high speed and perfect accents. Incredible!

I love this song simply because it puts you right there in the film. There are many great soundtracks out there throughout history, but few (if any) can make you feel as if you’re right there with the characters right when the most important parts happen. I’ve watched The Da Vinci Code countless times now, and every single time this one piece makes me feel like I’m watching it for the first time, working out that last clue alongside Dr Robert Langdon. Also, while this is your own rendition of the piece (since it was written for an entire orchestra), I feel you have captured this feeling perfectly. Well done, and thank you for not spoiling such a wonderful piece (I only say this because I know there are people out there who do other renditions that completely ruin the original intention and feeling of the piece).
