Sound isn't great, but it still captures the essence nicely enough. But I don't understand why you keep panning over to the bassist. This is a ZANIAS show, focus on Zanias my man. Don't worry about the supporting players for anything other than occasional footage.
1) She is not a "supporting player", she is part of the duo playing under the name Zanias. But feel free to go to Zanias' pages on Facebook or Instagram or whatever and ask Zoe to delete the bunch of photos and videos where the "supporting player" appears and also the texts written by Zoe where she uses the pronoun "we" when referring to the duo. Tell her she's giving too much credit to a "supporting player" and that she should focus on herself, "don't worry about supporting players, don't say "we", say "I", Zanias isn't a duo, ONLY YOU are Zanias!". 2) Even if she was a "supporting player" I obviously could focus on her as much as I wanted to, why the hell do you think I should follow your rules? Use them for yourself.
@@te9591 Hi, she is Laura Bailey, apart from Zanias she also play bass in a post-punk band called CIERŃ and has a solo project called Neu-Romancer: ua-cam.com/video/XCgPVYEupu8/v-deo.html instagram.com/ciern.berlin/ instagram.com/neu_romancer_/ Cheers!
@@HealthyDoseOfSelfDestruction fair enough. I'm just coming at this from a perspective that when "Zanias" is on Hör, it is only the one person, Allison Lewis. When I've seen most, if not all of her music videos, it is also only Allison. And when I originally looked up Zanias after first seeing her DJing on Hör, the various sites, like Resident Advisor, the "band" is described as: "Previously known as the voice of the bands Linea Aspera (with Ryan Ambridge) and Keluar (with Sid Lamar of Schwefelgelb), Zanias is a **solo performer,** DJ and producer, co-founder of Berlin's Fleisch collective and now runs the label of the same name." **Emphasis** added by me. In fact, Allison described herself as "Hi! I'm Allison, also known as Zanias..." on the Reasonable Girls podcast a few months back. But I might have taken on a bit too aggressive of a tone in my comment. For that, I apologize. I'm certainly not trying to denigrate Laura/Neu-Romancer. But I stand by the feedback. The panning back and forth just doesn't work in this video. In the future, I would recommend a wider lens if you want to capture more of the band in one shot, or maybe positioning yourself a little further away. Is that fair? ra.co/dj/zanias g.co/kgs/TgHsZG ua-cam.com/video/pkzWpmDVl7U/v-deo.htmlsi=xQcfnoSJ7_cZfXFo
I played bass in punk rock bands. I listen to everything from Faith no More to Doors, synth punk to hardcore punk , post punk , darkwave coldwave to Joy Division. The bass here has obviously been well rehearsed , as there's only two of them in the fucking band... The bass player provides the extra added dimension , energy and movement that makes it a bit more immersive experience, then if it was just the lone figure of Alison's. The live bass over the recorded bass is just bigger and better audio experience and enhances the whole show. And her bass pops like iMax cinema bass. But that's just my opinion.
My soul is crying and dancing at the same time... ⛥
Everyone's saying the sound is off, but i like it kind of undermixed, it's making it feel kind of raw.
Pretty much the way a good post punk band gig will go.
Zanias + Neu Romancer, love you for creating and sharing your art.
I saw you in Brazil, a week before the show!! You guys really work! I hope to see this splendid duo again
I love you!!
that's a perfect concert!

I disagree, it's great to have more than one subject in view. It makes me wonder who the bassist is.

Unfortunately, the sound is really bad here. Hope it is just your recording...
The bass playing is out of place, if you want bass playing, have a full rock band
the bass playing is perfectly in place
And let me guess, you just happen to play guitar?
