Why does this song feel like someone trying to cut an ex/narcissist out of their life? like idk why it just, feels like it. Kinda eerily too, reminded me of how one of my exes literally walked in my home. He remembered where I still lived, two years after we broke up and I blocked him, he came in silently through the back door and just, began talking to my family and I felt so sick I couldn't, stand being in the same room with him. Like dude, please, I blocked you for a reason, I know your games, you guilt-tripped me when i was 15 please go away. Since then, we always lock the back door.
This song sounds like my own personal guilt purgatory. I broke up w my gf of 6 months bc over summer break they never tried to contact me when i texted them. 6 months later they had a new partner. I looked down at my phone to see they'd sent me a text 3 hours ago that they needed help w something. I texted back about being the worst superhero ever for being so late. 2 or 3 days later i learned they'd offed themselves that day. I might have been the last person they texted and i wasn't there for them. Lots of guilt that this song holds perfectly.
