The “Pirates of the Caribbean “ films borrowed the doomed ship. But the Opera, Der Fliegande Holländer, was there first. I had 2 DVDs of the Wagner classic. Music was professional, ja. But the interpretations of the story were embarrassing. The old NAZI would have been furious.
