  • EFT over the years had lost of ups and downs, but it's still my favourite game to this day, it's just different than anything else i played. Here's a little retrospective about the feelings and old tarkov, short and sweet i would say, nothing too long and boring, i hope you'll enjoy watching it as i did making it. Have a good one.

    i was there in 2017 , it was better than anything I had experienced before. i did not know what would happen next , it was visceral. like nothing that ever existed.

    I don't necessarily miss old tarkov, I just miss that my whole friend group loved tarkov back then but alot of them burnt themselves out. (which I could never understand)

      i had quite the opposite experience, when i started playing tarkov, it was almost always solo, so i've a very hard and scary time back in the days, i was so scared that almost for the whole raids i would crouch walk trough the maps hahah, now i have a few friends that i occasionally play with, i still play solo most of the time, but getting back with the boys will always be a special treat for me.

    It´s the same feeling with every game, when you played it for years, you can get tired of it sometimes.
    Nothing beats the excitement of exploring this game as a beginner.

    Me and my friend finally just picked up on Tarkov after years of pretending it didn’t exist….It’s an incredible fun time and also painful. I slowly feel the hooks digging in

      hey man, i'm glad to hear more new people are coming into the game even after all these years, i only hope you're gonna have a bunch of fun! Tarkovs learning curve is crazy, right around 1k hours you'll actually start to catch everything, i wish you and your friend all the best both in tarky and irl, have a great one and thank you for taking some of your time to leave a comment here!

    I played tarkov in alpha when it came out, in 2016 on 27th december. Let me tell you, what we have now and what we had then, night an day. Old tarkov was amazing and held a story no one can repeat, now we just have advanced COD.

      to a point i agree, but hey everything is changing, we just have to accept it or not, it's of course your own choice, no one can tell to like or dislike something, i learned to adapt to these changes and i still love tarky, it's still to this day my favourite game. i can only hope that you will find some way to enjoy this new tarkov, have a good one man!

    I remember my first look into Tarkov. I was new to a Discord channel and they had automatic notifications for a chap called Blockie_TV. He was terrible. I found my self shouting at the screen because he would stumble into situations with no tactical knowledge what so ever, then "not understand" what went wrong.
    Anyway I was a offline single player guy up until then. Oh man - I'm not now.
    My first raid was as a Scav on Night Factory (I knew nothing). I looked around, then saw a red laser trace a wall in front of me. My raid lasted 11 seconds 🤣

    Earned a subscriber here man. Beautiful production. Great storytelling. Desolate vibe is brought out with your tone and choice of music. Reminds me of vintage Lemino. 10/10 keep em coming.

    What is escape from tarkov? Its the best game ever made IMO. No shooter has replicated the environments, feeling of the guns, and the feeling of wiping a squad of juicers and getting out weighing 80kg. This video was beautiful man. Subbed so hard.

    Old tarkov had a bit more immersion. Grenades would cause immense screen shake and loud ringing, it all got toned down for the player QOL but I miss it personally

      yeah man i did, everything was different back then, people didn't hunt the loot really, cuz there was no hideout either, but insted we were looting for gear, i can't say there was more or less pvp, but it played differently then what it is nowdays, tarkov was always fun for me, that's why i haven't stopped playing since 2017 and don't plan on stopping

    You miss the times when the game wasn't inflated by thousands of casual players who pressured devs into something much bigger and different then it was originially supposed to be
    I would like todays Tarkov it if didn't become too casual, CODish and overall, if it didn't loose its original lore taste...I mean, Goons and Zryachiy is someting purely made for NA community and that doesn't suit the game at all, look at Rashala and Sturman, og bosses, believable thugs, not some marvel superheroes from another world
    overall, besides Nikita, I blame NA, they brought in negative influence and their gaming taste is trash

    • @DeIta_6

      Everyone has the right to their opinion, i learned to love to adapt to new changes they put in front of us, sure some things feel rushed and would be better if they took more time and tought some things over more than they did. There's indeed a lot of presure put on them, but i can't blame one community, it changed, and now it's over, sure i miss the old times when there were no twitter and yt dramas and wars but in the end i just want to play the game i love and i do still love tarkov. I hope bsg learned their lesson after this!

    • @furi_1663
      @furi_1663 3 місяці тому +1

      @@DeIta_6 yeah sure, as you said, it is just my opinion, nor it is base on some research but more like what was left in my mind over the years since summer 2017 :)
      we all know there is more then enough for hours long videos analyzing how who and why it went, once good, once bad, tarkov dev story is enormous
      your video plays emotional so there's no wonder it enabled years long frustration of what we were promised and where are we now, not to mention everything is even harder thinking about almost family approach from BSG which was and still is very unique, even though it degraded over the time
      And yes, twitter, facebook and other socials are real pain in the ass, since the cheater problem came up ...I am not saying they should not be pressured, but the Nikita's fading entusiasm and more and more tired face on streams just frustrates me even more, I believe he is not even trying right now and is not honest with us which is the key point issue, the communication, anyway, we, as the community, are not helping either, there is few but not enough, for example faixTX got so many good ideas and got real insight, I wish he would be more heard out

    • @DeIta_6
      @DeIta_6  3 місяці тому

      @@furi_1663 when i started working on this video i had so much to say, figured out that would be boring even to myself to make a really long video so i decided to make a shorter version, i'm sure tarkov in the end will be a great game and that's what all of us want, having fun is why we play it and sure sometimes tarkov can be frustraiting, but if you just stick to it, keep learning and get over that steep learning curve it can be such a fun game. fun is not getting to kappa every wipe but only what you decide what's the most fun for you, that's what matters the most. as for drama my man, community really stood up for all of us, glad they did cuz that's what made bsg go back to the ground, maybe they finally realized that without the community they are nothing. we'll see what the future is holding, i hope only for the best!

    • @furi_1663
      @furi_1663 3 місяці тому

      @@DeIta_6 I mean, yeah, community did a lot, like for real, but people must know what they want at the first place, sometimes it got negative effect, anyway I am sure as well, Tarkov will become a great game, that's what we can 100% agree on
      I hope some day someone will make a long storytelling about all this, it would need a lot of work done, lots of resarch and preparation to got it right, but it might be one of the greatest game dev stories since lets say 2014, before game industry went mad

    It was NDA for everyone and I didnt care about Tarkov, then one day my mate mentioned it at a party, I asked if that weird gunporno shooter game is available for purchase already, he said yes and that all you gotta do is run to safe in Factory, loot a lion and you are good. I came back home, bought the game, installed it, sat 9 minutes in matchmaking and got killed 2 seconds in raid by some loudest gun in FPS ever (could be a PM lol), I think I tried another raid which went the same and uninstalled. Few months later I saw first ever guide to being a hatchling by a guy who hates Tarkov, gave it another shot and now Im still playing :D. Best MMORPG ever no kidding.
