    I feel like America as a whole would be so well served if everyone tuned into a good dave rant every once in a while lol. There is more truth, content and common sense in any one of these than many other areas for opportunity for content.

    Following you from South Africa. Totally agree with the corruption comment, we are struggling here with really ineffective, corrupt, greedy government. We live in God's economy though, my family is still going to get out of debt. No excuses.

    I said the same thing about the US when I came back from visiting Cuba. We Americans have it so easy compared to many of these other countries, and yet so many Americans are unaware of that. They cry for more "socialism" yet don't understand how it works, and how harmful it is to a free society.
    I've also traveled to other nations worldwide and lived overseas most of my life, and I think it's known around the world that Americans (average Americans) are very uneducated about most things. So sad. But there's hope!

    • @Cahluvca
      @Cahluvca 5 років тому

      It's all relative when talking about economics. Even though America is a 1st world power the majority are struggling in comparison to a country that is suppose to the land of milk and honey.

    • @Zania16ify
      @Zania16ify 5 років тому +1

      KLUV yes but when we are discussing economics, you have to also look at WHY people are struggling. And how much of it has to do with poor choices, lack of education or some sort of systematic oppression. Which actually has to with all three sometimes (if you ask me).
      But even then, there are so many factors you must look at once stating the obvious point which is that of un guaranteed success for individuals in a free society. Which is economically fair by the way.. because not everyone makes it, but in the United States, you have the OPPORTUNITY to be successful. Whereas in socialist or communist societies, it is very hard and in the past, economically impossible to make it....

    • @Zania16ify
      @Zania16ify 5 років тому

      KLUV of course I'm only talking about the United States here. I would say you can't exactly compare the US to nations such as Cuba, bc they both have entirely different systems in place.

    • @Zania16ify
      @Zania16ify 5 років тому

      KLUV also I'll add that in a FREE society such as the US, you have the ability to CHANGE your circumstances; meaning you are in control of the outcome. You are not your circumstances. Of course some have had a head start and others not so much. But here we have the "pursuit to happiness". But it also means that YOU are the one that determines that. Its not my responsibility or the government's to make sure that you succeed.
      :)

    • @Zania16ify
      @Zania16ify 5 років тому

      C B amen well said and praise the Lord because even this reality of this is being attacked. It's important that we protect this bc it is VERY much possible to start from NOTHING here, and become something of yourself, but it comes from individuals pursuing this, not some other entity. Average Americans have forgotten or lost that truth about our country. As an American citizen but also a South African citizen who's lived and traveled around lots of the world, it makes me sad to see how uneducated most Americans are about our own country.
      The wealthy ones appear the most "normal" to be. Meanwhile, I don't understand how the middle class can be so ignorance and dumbfounded in their decision making over even the simplest of matters.

I did see one person bite in front of me one time. After she was done and as I was checking out, I asked the checkout woman "How many people actually sign up for the credit card?" .. she said "A LOT!". Never taken more than 2 weeks off in a row in 40 years? This is why freedom is more important than money/business. I'll be glad to hit around $1 million in my accounts and retire in my 50's doing what I want(which I may still earn money, even if less) rather than work til age 65 at a same 9-5 type job and have $3 million in those accounts. Money comes back, time never will.

    Very true. Africa is beautiful and is our homeland🇳🇬. We shot a movie in Ghana in 2016 it’s on our UA-cam channel now. The amount of wealth there is insane but it’s poorly managed and corruption is a big deal. Western influence does play a part in what’s going on in Africa though.
