Finally something cool custom and original done with resin. It's not " hey we're gonna build a guitar with resin and a bucket of crayons or bolts. No. This is really cool. Turned out beautiful.

Honestly...I will never look at a guitar the same way. I will always be thinking of what went into the craftsmanship of someone's axe for now on.
Crazy to think that back in early 1979 when Eddie painted his black/white guitar red/black/whute that he had no idea he was creating something so iconic.btw good job on drilling out the original bridge holes.most people skip that part

I highly recommend purchasing a router plane! Lee Valley tools offers 3 different sizes it will replace the tedious sawing and chiselling! Fellow woodworker here!

I’m not a luthier but I have been a painter and carpenter for 20 years. I have an immense amount of respect for the amount of skill it takes to do something like this by hand. It’s really a work of art. Out of curiosity how much would a guitar like that cost. I have a number in my head I wonder how close I am.
I would guesstimate $1500 minimum
5 grand minimum. Im saying that considering that the evh frankie is around 2 grand give or take. The craftsmanship of this is already worth that much.

That is beautiful man, I just finished building my first guitar and I have a deep head like yours, I just strung it up and broke the head off.
Kind of disappointing, but I repaired it. And after seeing that bar you use, I realized I need one of those to take the tension off of the angle.
