I just got into Magic, and I bought this as a suggestion by the members of the discord of my LGS. I wanted to run Revel in Riches, and they suggested this. Thanks for the video, I kinda have an idea how I want to play it now.
ok I already HAD this Commander deck but I'm still a newbie so this video helped me SO MUCH. Learning how to optimize this Commander and the tips you provided for managing the creatures on the field and in my hand was really helpful.
I find it so hard to justify buying a new commander product - mainly I don't really have an interest in the deck itself or when I do, it just highly priced and it just makes me think nahhhhh (Eldrazi Incursion in recent memory comes to mind). That being said, you did make a very compelling arguement/case for this Olivia deck thats for sure. Keep up all the great work and I'll see you on the next one. Cheers dude, hope all is well.
I already own it and modified it. It runs VERY well into multiple combat trigger like aggravated assault and port razer. Token generators like cave hoard dragon and smothering tithe are exponentially more valuable in this deck. It runs smooth, even when topdecking you feel like you have options
So, this deck is nuts. Crazy consistent. My "budgetless" pod got together this weekend and I played it in 5 games vs other high power decks and won all 5. In fact, this deck is yet to lose for me. With only 2 wins off of revel. One of my podmates who was skeptical of her was thoroughly impressed and another went and bought the precon himself to work on his own version. As a blue player myself, I'm surprised by it's consistency and options
@thomaspierce5831 annoyingly I can't, any link I try to put down just gets insta deleted. I'm assuming it's something with UA-cam rules. Basically add things like port razer, xorn, professional face breaker, tutors, all will be one, and aggravated assault. Play tons of removal and just swing in where you can with outlaws. If you have xorn or PFB it's psuedo infinite combats with aggravated assault and olivia.
As someone new to Commander who tried this deck for the first time today, I will say that I had fun and I definitely had chances to win if I were more experienced. But I also love Rakdos in general for Standard play, so I'm used to it being a bit of a gamble for my wins anyway, and the introduction to Mardu felt natural. In any case, it feels like a flexible playstyle that benefits from a little creativity in your approach, rather than just running a meta. Also, thank you for the video! I was convinced and I had fun, so what else do you really need?
I bought it right after presell started, even not knowing commander. I just wanted mardu precon. Then I have heard from Nitpicking Nerds that this is the worst out of four, and very chaotic. That made me super sad so I not even opened it yet. I see it price is not rising, it even dropped a bit, while the individual card price is nice. maybe I should keep it. I am still not sure.
Maybe my answer is a bit late. The deck is decent. A bit all over the place (why so much lifegain, why are there sacrifice cards in there?), but the commanders are strong. Also, it is VERY easy to upgrade this one. There are lots of good cards that are outlaws and/or have treasure synergies. Upgrades for this deck don’t have to be expensive. By just increasing the cards that make treasures, are payoffs for treasures, and cards helping to get in for damage, you can make this deck very powerful without putting much money into it. And even without upgrades, the deck works because Olivia ties the two main themes together well (Outlaws and treasures). And notably, the reanimation cards are excellent, so you can be more aggressive without worrying too much when some of your creatures die.

Would you mind sharing what all you modified? I'm having a hard time trying to find interest in this deck cause it seems slow compared to the other 3
@@thefroninjaproject3199 yeah I'll correct a couple changes when I get home and I'll post the link to the list

Have fun Drew
The only precon that interests me is dessert bloom. I love land decks
Green is good. But I like treasure. Tap a treasure to get mana.
I was convinced enough by Mari
Great video man
