Nice job hope it lasts. Took a look at your older vids. What a great place to ride I'm a new sub keep up the great vids and thanks for sharing
+TheFanitcalFan Thanks seems to be holding up so far gave it a good blat on the weekend with no issues. Cheers for the comment :)
Stock bash plate is made of hard cheese..just like the stock handle bars....lol
Educational. Thanks. Are you planning on an aluminum skid plate now or is that stock on good enough?
+Vermont Dualsport Will get an alloy one for sure, at least will get one before riding around the coast again the stock one has been fine for sticks and so on but I'm guessing it was a rock just went straight through it.
Did you mix the epoxy and get ur warm?
but I don't a hole in the plastic skid plate, how the engine got hit there???
+Enduro Riders I point at the hole at the end of the video on the skid plate, was not very big was a slow leak of oil hardly noticeable until I cleaned the engine to have a decent look.
+Dylan Percival oh, ok so small...strange it got into engine so hard. thanks for the video.
Excelente video. Saludos desde chile
It is better to use metal epoxy ! The two tubes that you mix and dry very quick and just 5 minutes and wait 1 to 2 hours to be hard dry
Nicely done. stay safe
will the bike pass a roadworthy with this fix done to it?
It should do its a really solid repair I was impressed with how well it worked
Good job on the repair. First mod on any dirt bike should be a skid plate. Even gravel roads can cause damage too much for a stock plastic thingy.
+azdesertdog Thanks. It is a essential thing to get just got carried away with getting the fun stuff first foolishly, lucky it wasn't to serious.
