I'm an old retired player, with old tired heroes. Got lucky and pulled Armand. Loving my new toy. I use him for everything. Good for titans too. Once he goes off you can pretty much fiddle around with the board any way you like. And you don't lose time waiting for the titans hits. My level of play isn't near as high as however. It was refreshing to have something new and fun to play with.
💯 it's definitely refreshing to have a game changer like that drop in. I remember around the anniversary I had had a long drought and then pophit dropped and suddenly I was back in it 🤣 like Tony Soprano said. 'Just when u think ur out... they puuuulll u back in' congrats on VRB he's fantastic!
I got lucky and on my last pull got Von Rothbart. Seems very powerful. Do you think he is suitable to be on a defense tram (left most position?) Or is he mainly for offensive teams? Would you pair him with Daroga?
Huuuuge Congrats!!! 👏 👏 👏 he is literally the 2nd best hero in the entire game atm in my humblest of opinions! 😅 Great Offensive and Defensive hero. On Defense I would look to put him as close to the centre as possible. Either flank or tank. He is still good but slightly wasted on the wings 🪽 hope that helps. Enjoy your new toy! 😉💪🦾💪
I believe you're right that a Cleanser will only Cleanse the Silence but not the Dance. Casting a Dance after Van Rothbart casts his dance will overwrite his dance. Basically against Von Rothbart, you'll need a dancer on your own Team (Prince Siegfrield, Odile, Gazelle) to overwrite his dance and possibly a Cleanser. Either Heroes are great which is featured with Odile. Definately a great Portal to try. I got incredibly lucky and got Armand Moncharmin on my 5th pull.

I'm hoping the portal is saving him just for me 🙏 😅 also I'm hoping u can steal the silence but I don't think you can. It's probably replace the dance effect or die. In which case Guardian Gazelle might actually be a viable counter 🤔 😳 lots to decifer with this one.

1. silence is part of the dance effect and uncleansable. 2. Toons can reject the dance effect using their 75% passive. 3. Once active, it cannot be stopped unless Von R. is killed. 4. Rogues can dodge the 550% damage but still become inflicted with the dance effect. 5. Status reflectors like Goldie CANNOT stop the dance effect. 6. Other dance effects, both team and opponents, will replace Von R.'s dance effect unless silenced before firing.

So it's basically you need another Offense dancer to overwrite Van Rothbart and Toon heroes especially Marjana Toon to dodge the dancing effect. If any of you are lucky enough to have Insanity Heroes, that would be your last resort to cast it against themselves. Otherwise, it's basically game over for anyone else.
The other hero that puts enemies to sleep is Caelen. I was going to ask what your thoughts would be putting those two heros on a defense team! I was fortunate to get both heros!
Man, we should call you Mr Sandman 😅 2 brand new sleepers! What are the chances. It would be a nice experiment and extremely annoying to face but I don't know how effective they'd be as a pair. It's not too difficult to wake the sleeping target but this minion hit not waking them certainly gives another dimension especially on defense where tiles aren't an issue. I'm sure ull be maxing both cause they are great heroes so I'd give it a whirl and if it doesn't work then at least you won't loose any sleep over it 🤣

@McNaultyYT my dark suffers some and the Gane is tempting me to pull for this purple. I am tempted to grab Guardian Gazelle out of fated since I have his costume and make a 3erd holy mono team .
@McNaultyYT ya like you say we need more people making videos for empires and puzzles. We need this stiff tested. And you abd I and others have not been pulling and spending we have slowed down

Not sure, but Von Rothbart special probably doesn't work on toons, clerics, and monks.
I pulled Armand he seems broken as soon as he starts he nullifies an opponent. But he also hits every turn for a lot of damage.

try to cleanse and you get damage, luckily this dance cant be applied if you have ailment protection

Clense =equalizer war . I have so many good yellow I never pushed Erlang past 70 .
