Billy Korean” made a series where he analysed BTS' Korean and in V's episode he explained what it’s TaeTae language.
That's called TaeTae language. This was one of the stumbling blocks they had to overcome. As you see, Tae was really hyper in the early days and when he got excited, it was reflected in his speech. That is why Suga helps to sort of translates for Tae. He knows the dialect and what Tae is trying to say. That is why you see him often chuckle and then steps in and helps Tae get his point across. I think because Suga does not like "cute" and hates how k-pop requires aegyo and I'm sure, like me, he thinks it is so fake, he first did not care for V. And they would disagree a lot. Then I think Suga said they learned to resolve their disagreements by just shutting up and holding hands during those times. It is so cute to see them do that. It is like it calms them both down. For those who want to know a bit more they can watch gobilly’s video about how Taehyung talks etc, he has a segment on it. In regards to TaeTae language, to the members, company editors and fans it’s super sweet and appealing and one of his many charm points. Tae’s explained it as him ‘not being able to speak well’ though which made me a bit sad. It doesn’t happen as often as he’s worked very hard on it though, which is why I believe he prefers shorter sentences and speaks much slower with pauses and filler words etc. (Sadly he used to get teased for not being able to speak in standard dialect when he was younger and also for his speech in the early days just after debut) I’ve noticed that some environments create more frequent certain types of TaeTae language moments. For example, interviews, award ceremonies and press conferences. He’s a very soft and gentle person, who is prone to nerves and shyness. To those of us who know him we know all his tells when he is nervous and shy though. He will drink a lot of water, his face will go blank, he will do reflexive swallowing, he will touch his neck, lick his lips a lot, push his bangs with the back of his hand (he does that other times too) his breathing gets shallow and he goes very still, or he will sway… his fingers and hands tend to tremble too (example the performance at the Grammy’s with Olivia R where he looked so confident but when you looked you saw his hands tremble as he was doing the card trick and he said backstage he was so nervous all he said was literally bla bla bla, or the time at the muster where he was so nervous he couldn’t talk when introducing Ddaeng and Yoongi and Jimin reassured him and told him to take it slowly) These are things that you notice over time when you pay attention to Tae… I think it’s why so many casual fans and multi-stans take so long to actually get to know Tae because with Tae it’s so subtle that you have to pay attention… but once you know then you can spot it easily. Korean ARMY think of him as ‘Gomdori’ like a gentle teddy bear and always emphasise his pure and innocent nature as well as his sentimentality and his free spirit. His witty sense of humour is also a feature that I love. I personally think a lot of his cuteness is lost in translation. Especially with how much gets missed out in the nuances of subtitling and captions that are sometimes inaccurately translated. There are some famous examples of his word choice (where he used words often used by children instead but of course the translation does not distinguish between that) There is an also a famous saying with k-army that ‘his attack is zero and his defence is zero’ which comes across the more content you watch. He’s really so lovable… the more you get to know about Tae the more you fall in love with his charms… he’s so multi-faceted and of course so beautiful inside and out and talented. I can stand in his line. Finding the right words is also difficult for me, so I prefer to write instead of speaking. This means I prefer not to be the center of attention and listen instead of having to speak myself. In my past, I've upset a lot of people around me because they misunderstood me and I just couldn't get my words out the way I meant them. My brain knows what should be said long before I say anything, but my mouth quickly wants to get everything over with and then throws out random words. I know how that feels. Yeah Tae does talk in a unique way, I personally often have the same issue, some people told me that i should just get tested for ADHD and dyslexia as both can cause this, but it never really bothered me or my friends. People usually are able to figure out what i wanna say and with a solid groups of people it is even more fun coz it gets funny when I realize how scattered it is what i said outloud.

Yeah Tae does talk in a unique way, I personally often have the same issue, some people told me that i should just get tested for ADHD and dyslexia as both can cause this, but it never really bothered me or my friends. People usually are able to figure out what i wanna say and with a solid groups of people it is even more fun coz it gets funny when I realize how scattered it is what i said outloud.
