I always find making these check in videos so helpful to remember all my accidentally abandoned “currently reading” books! I really should do a buddy read purge too - good idea!
When things get overwhelming the first thing I like to do is delete all commitments 😅 but in these cases I knew I had no intention of reading those books this year
Rats. I had a comment all typed out but then I got a "returned error" message and now it's gone. There's only one thing I really want to say and that is the book title at 14:15 because it's a clever play on the Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club, by Charles Dickens. I love that stuff. And I'm with you on tackling the books I own. I think that's a GOOD thing.
Puns often pass me by, but I did know it was a play on the Dickens. I don't know the story so any other cleverness in relating Pickwick to manuscripts is definitely going to be lost on me!

I have the Peavar/Volokhonsky version of AK which is Penguin’s standard one now. I’ll be happy to do a buddy read!
After Sanderson's Christmas behemoth, it's a date!

@@elzbethmrgn The Pickwick Club is, by far, the funniest Dickens novel. I love all of the characters, and especially Sam Weller.
