It’s like Sinigang with different ingredients for the sour soup. You can order beef with intestines and cow’s blood. It’s a favoriite dish by the locals.
@@RollyMagpayo Thanks but I 'll pass with the sinanglao. The empanada looks tasty though and huge. I love empanada antojitos just like my friend Ramona makes it. It's pretty similar with the empanadas Ilocano style.
@@marieroyal4434 The first time I tasted Sinanglao I liked it. But the second time not as much. Like I said on the video, it may be that I had companions back then and the experience made me like it. Honestly, I like Sinigang more than Sinanglao. I also prefer just the beef with no intestines and blood :-)
@@RollyMagpayo Sinigang (paired with brown rice) is definitely my go-to meal. Nothing beats pork sinigang. I have 99% Ilocano lineage but Sinanglao is something that is foreign to me. That is why I asked what's in it. I grew up eating papaitan or pinapaitan and Iwould eat everything except the chitterlings. Never liked the texture of it in my mouth. Not a fan of chitterlings at all.
I have read somewhere that Sinanglao is very much like papaitan but with slightly different ingredients. Pork Sinigang is still better I agree. But I will never get tired of Empanada and Bagnet with KBL

What's the deal about sinanglao? Looks like soup with a big chunk of meat in it.
