A few things were outdated in this video since the interview with the devs that Pirate Software had with them and honestly should've been edited out to stop the spread of non issues. Cosmetics: They already confirmed that the cosmetics would be account wide and refunds would be given for duplicate items bought. Dead players/full servers: confirmed again in that same interview, you will have to confirm your server before playing the next season, freeing up slots in servers until they are rejoined again. I dont know if this will allow you to change servers per season or not or if you have to pick the same one again. As for the concern of wipes, basically everything carries over. What you keep: All important currency Gear blueprints Furniture blueprints All cosmetics Custom house blueprints All story progress, main and side quest progress. Friends list What you dont keep Character level Current gear Materials Deviants You can partially bring over the last three things with limitations to give you a boost at the beginning of the new season. You can continue your progress on the previous season or do the new one. And they stated already that no seasonal content will be sunset. The wipes aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

Yeah, originally I thought they were removing them but it seems like they are just changing what gets carried over each season, so I think our items and materials will now which they weren’t before.
@@GoldenYT01 no that's not changing either. They explain that there is a system in place to allow you to bring in some items from last season. We don't know the entire restriction on it but it does have a limit. You cannot farm as much materials as you want and bring them into the new season. When the season ends and wipes the server, everything will be transferred to the "Eternal Land", a creative mode island, and then you will be able to pick items to bring into the new season. The UI button for this system has existed since launch. You can see it now in your inventory at the bottom right of it, just beside your character. It has and island icon on it and that will be your "Eternal Land" inventory.
That’s a very interesting concept, only bring some items? How would that work, so basically you lose most of your stuff, and you can just bring over your important stuff, ehh not a fan of that. I get it though, having everyone return with all there stuff would ruin the point of a wipe. But that’s why I don’t think this game should have a wipe in the first place.

Game is fun but 6 week wipe will more then likely kill this game for me. I am on the same thought prosses as that one reviewer, I will play this season then more then likely never touch the game again, depends on how the season wipes actually work. This is exactly why I just stopped playing. The first week of released, I put in like 40 hours but just dropped off because I know I'd lose everything. The combat also started to get boring. Everything is just so easy to kill. I enjoy the weapon/armor gear system and the 3rd person view so much that I reinstalled The Division 2. I thought to myself, why continue playing this when there's another game where it took some of it's ideas from, only better overall in terms of combat. Great video! I actually think anyone afraid of a wipe should not bother playing anyway. If building a little hut is too hard then why are you playing the game in the first place? This is a survival game, base building and wipes are normal features. Heck, in most seasonal games like Path of Exile or Diablo 4 you actually are worse off than this type of wipe, every single season. It's a completely illogical concern that tells me people aren't actually serious about playing the game. And that's okay because not every game is for every person, but the key thing is YOU SHOULD NOT BE TRYING TO FORCE CHANGES TO A GAME BECAUSE YOU AREN'T WILLING TO PUT TIME AND EFFORT INTO A GAME. MOst Games with Cosmetic don't apply to all the Characters . In EQ1 or EQ 2 its a Aug and you remove it from one toon to the Next it doesn't apply to all toons. And only toons on that server. You can't cross server it.(well you could but its $50 transfer fee) So what's the big Deal? One toon per server is a Anti-Cheat thing so people dont Box or Bot . Instead of the Intrat China allowed its citizens to play on International servers if you are IDed. If you read the Policy they Follow each Country Laws and Privacy Laws. It has too Or Steam would have never let it in their Store. Steam is a US Based company (WA State) with STill a Single owner . It is Not Public on Wall Street. (Valve is a privately held company, meaning its stock is not publicly traded and the company is not required to disclose financial information as publicly traded firms do. Therefore, you cannot invest in Valve through the public market) Its Free Play , If you it was a paid monthly Sub that would be different.

The reset isnt even a big problem, i dont mind restarting the game every 1,5 month (although they stated other scenario's last longer) and get new starchom to get new gear again. My main concern is the prime wars, since they are 'server driven' i already experienced a case of 'missing out'. Although it normaly wasnt a biggy, you just tag along the next, they changed it now so you cant join any higher/later ones unless you got 1000 score in the lower tiers. Sure, i can built some defense, get the rocket, and ask a few folks to help out but the mechanics of prime war (both damage as lag wise) the odds of actualy winning arent that great. Overal, i still like the game alot, its a nice shooter, you can do what you want and it works.
The reset was just announced to be changing anyway, and I’m not sure about prime wars, iv seen it but i never did them so I’m not really sure what that entails

Yeah I honestly wouldn’t say it’s a asset flip. And that’s because that word is kinda seen as a inherently bad thing. People don’t realize the same stop sign doesn’t need to be made a million times. That’s not me saying that the game should sit there and steal all their assets from a marketplace store. But megascans have become popular with game developers. And they can be created by taking a picture of something, there’s nothing wrong with using something that already exists, as long as it is done correctly
After about 60 hours: Been a good time playing with friends, the game lacks a little soul because it feels like the content is gonna be boring quickly. The grinding for materials is boring as shit, especially the rifts where you look for crates etc. If they made farming blueprints and mats a bit more enganging and varied I'd probably find some more longevity in the game.

Seriously whats the problem it is not like it has wipe once in month like rust. Also why do some ppl think this game as WOW or eve. This is not MMORPG this is SurvivalMMO. Ppls mission is to see who gets in end fastest who gets most done in 6 weeks. Decay would be worse try playing Conan exiles servers. Only thing there is decaying buildings, but servers are empty. Wipes are the times when Rust gets most of its players. All good Survivals gets most players in their wipes. Mostly because everyone starts at the same spot. But players that have played before have advantage because they know. This is game where knowledge is power. Y played before y get better bp's. Because y allready know some of them.
Wipes ruin the game for me. That said, I enjoyed it for about three weeks, and what you can do for free is impressive, so if I had to give it a thumbs down or thumbs up, I would definitely give it a thumbs up.
i tried the game today and it wasn't what i was expecting, I had two problems with it: first, i had no space to do anything, i joined a server labelled as "low density" and it felt like slums, i had nowhere to place my territory and the amount of buildings was kinda unsightly, I feel it's kinda bad for them to drop everyone on the same spot, too much clutter. Secondly, too much information, i am not usually a fan of survival games to begin with, but i played a few like The Long Dark and I know there is a better way to present the resource collecting, crafting and the huge amount of menus and so on, the survival tutorial is kinda rushed, V tries to tell somethings about food, water and mining/lumbering and that's about it. I think the concept is AWESOME, but the game misses a personality, it feels like a mobile game, the lore seems interesting, the monsters are cool, the gun play felt satisfying enough, maybe if it was a more linear game or at least had a single player/private server option so there was less clutter in the world would make it a better experience for me
If the spot u want to place is occupied by someone you can juet change between the 10 words on a teleport spot. The players and builds are scattered across 10 worlds and you just gotta find one you like
Yeah, the clutter is a big problem and most of the houses are abandoned by people who built a house and then uninstalled the game, it kinda ruined the experience and also lagged my game a bunch when driving fast on a motorcycle.

But players that have played before have advantage because they know. This is game where knowledge is power. Y played before y get better bp's. Because y allready know some of them.

Wipes ruin the game for me. That said, I enjoyed it for about three weeks, and what you can do for free is impressive, so if I had to give it a thumbs down or thumbs up, I would definitely give it a thumbs up.

i tried the game today and it wasn't what i was expecting, I had two problems with it: first, i had no space to do anything, i joined a server labelled as "low density" and it felt like slums, i had nowhere to place my territory and the amount of buildings was kinda unsightly, I feel it's kinda bad for them to drop everyone on the same spot, too much clutter. Secondly, too much information, i am not usually a fan of survival games to begin with, but i played a few like The Long Dark and I know there is a better way to present the resource collecting, crafting and the huge amount of menus and so on, the survival tutorial is kinda rushed, V tries to tell somethings about food, water and mining/lumbering and that's about it. I think the concept is AWESOME, but the game misses a personality, it feels like a mobile game, the lore seems interesting, the monsters are cool, the gun play felt satisfying enough, maybe if it was a more linear game or at least had a single player/private server option so there was less clutter in the world would make it a better experience for me
If the spot u want to place is occupied by someone you can juet change between the 10 words on a teleport spot.
The players and builds are scattered across 10 worlds and you just gotta find one you like
Yeah, the clutter is a big problem and most of the houses are abandoned by people who built a house and then uninstalled the game, it kinda ruined the experience and also lagged my game a bunch when driving fast on a motorcycle.
