Tokyo Day 3: Sensoji Temple, Tokyo Skytree, Shinjuku Gyoen & Akihabara 🇯🇵| Japan Travel Guide 2024

It's Day 3 in Tokyo and we are going to spend a day at Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, Sensoji Temple, and Tokyo Skytree. First stop is the Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, which is only near our hotel and Shinjuku Station. It is a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling metropolis, featuring a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese, English, and French landscape designs. With its meticulously manicured lawns, serene ponds, and vibrant seasonal flowers, it provides a peaceful retreat for both locals and visitors. After the tiring walk, we ate at Yakiniku Like at Kannon-Dori, the meat is soooo delicious! Next stop is the Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's oldest and most significant Buddhist temple, stands in the historic Asakusa district. Its majestic Thunder Gate, vibrant red pagoda, and bustling Nakamise shopping street create an atmosphere of reverence and excitement, drawing millions of pilgrims and tourists each year. Meanwhile, Tokyo Skytree, the tallest structure in Japan, offers a striking contrast with its futuristic design and towering presence. As a broadcasting tower and observation deck, it provides unparalleled panoramic views of the sprawling cityscape, extending to Mount Fuji on clear days. Together, these landmarks encapsulate the harmonious blend of tradition, spirituality, and modernity that defines Tokyo.
Our last stop is the mecca of electronic gadgets, Akihabara! It is known for its towering electronics stores, vibrant arcades, and myriad shops dedicated to manga and anime. We didn't spend much time in this district since we are already tired. ☺️
