Nibelsnarf has a very fun gimmick where it can eat large barrel bombs. I think the easiest way to get Nibel eat it is during his triple bite charge. When the it blows up, it gets stuck and you can fish him out. Then you can hit inside its mouth for big damage. And yeah the reason your traps didn't cuz Nibel ate it 😂Better to trap it when it sleeps imo
You can place a barrel bomb down and try to get nibblesnarf to eat it if he does its blows him out of the sand and while he’s in the kinda dazed half in the sand half not u can use a fishing rod and fish him out of the sand it’s pretty funny 😄
Niblesnarf is more a Paolumu, or Rathian level Treath, it waa a bit missplaced so early into the Game. Its quiet interssting mechanically. The Sonic Bombs act as lure. If hes underground, place a Bomb and trow a Sonic Bomb, and he will eat it. Or wait for his Rathian Charge, and he will eat a Bomb as well, but it wont explode if you get hit in the Process. After this, you get a unique Knockdown, and can fish him out of the Sand.
clicked the second i saw the video, absolutely loving the generations content. Inspiring me to get my switch out again and hop on the grind. as a side note, are you going to make a vid using prowler mode sometime?
Another suggestion: make use of the already implemented DLC packs. On every file you create, make sure to download ALL of the item, quest and special item DLCs via your Housekeeper. They'll give you a TON of stuff to give you a nice jumpstart at the beginning. ^^
Fun fact! If you bring a frog (the fishing item) you can fish out Nibelsnarf for a big knockdown when its facing up, like when he was when you mounted him
Random fact Gaijin Hunter did some research and apparently yellow sharpness (before green) has random chance of bouncing? Unlike green and behind which doesn’t lol.

If you hold sprint and spin your joystick in tight circles when you have a binding blight, it'll get rid of it really fast
I would also try adept style greatsword. Sooo fun dodging and following with an uppercut
ledges in gen u are kinda interesting, you can cancel sheate animations and if you fall asleep right in the ledge the fall will wake you up
