Double Smile Line and Shadow French - Nail Design Tutorial

Hi Duck in today’s video I am going to be doing a set of bespoke nails on a real client and she’s having quite a long set!
We have already done the prep and fit the tips we are doing a ballerina set today and I have blended in the Step between the tip and the natural nail I have given the tip a buff over and then cleaned it with some clean-up solution on a lint-free pad.
Now I’m going in with my acrylic placing down my first bead that will form the smile line and then I can place a bead behind that to create the cuticle area.
On the next finger, I do the same thing using white acrylic but all with one bead of acrylic.
Once those have had a chance to set I'll file that smile line wall to get that nice and sharp and then I'll remove any dust using the clean-up solution on a lint-free pad then I can apply gel polish to that wall and here I’m using Lily and also the Lily liner brush to get into those hard to reach spots ill cure that and then I can place the white acrylic after that and bring that down through the free edge.
Then I will be placing some shell into this design so I'll pick out some pieces that I like and break them into smaller parts then I can place those into the acrylic then I'll take an A&A Glitter that I have Mirror Ball Mega Mix and ill place some on that on to the nail with the shell.
I'll stick with this theme throughout the rest of the set adding some double smile lines and sticking with the Shell, mirrorball megamix, and Lily gel polish design language and I'll encapsulate this set with the Glass slipper.
Now I can file over this design ill start by using my e-file with my purple Swarovski bit to remove any bulk form the nail and then I can switch out to my hand file and perfect that shape and then I can buff over and make everything smooth then ill go over these with a coat of unicorn horn to add some sparkle and then I can seal everything in with the Gloss topcoat and that’s it! Hi Kirsty! I’ve been a fan for a long time and watch your videos every day, even if I’ve seen the video already. I have an auto immune disease called Crohns and my disease is really severe so I’m sick every day and spend a great deal of time in the hospital. Crohns can be life threatening and it destroys a persons quality of life. It’s like having a stomach virus every day. Anyway, anytime I’m feeling particularly off awful and especially if I’m in the hospital, I watch your videos because they are so calm and comforting. I’m not a nail tech. I’m just a person who thinks the sun shines out of your ass and love watching you work! I just want you to know how awesome and talented you are. I love every video you post and the craziest thing is that when I feel terrible, even before I turn on one of your videos, just the thought of getting to watch one can make me immediately relax. My stress level decreases, the tension leaves my body, and I’m immediately relaxed. If you’re reading this, I have a request. ❤❤❤It truly doesn't matter if you keep the filing in the videos but in my case I learned so much for watching your videos. You were one of the first nail techs that I actually watched on here and it broke my heart when I went to get my nails done for the very first time because I thought everyone that worked in the salon what is technically a nail tech but obviously I learned over time that everyone has their ability to get better at their job long story short the place I went definitely has not gotten better at their job😂😂😂 I have been watching since before you started your own business. You are one of the best people I have the privilege of watching you work and show all of us here in the comments how you have grown in your abilities!!

Hi, Kirsty! I love to watch the entire process, especially removing the old mani. I learn from example, and I'm always confused about lifting. What's lifted? What hasn't lifted? How do you tell? If you could show us the removal process, and point out lifted areas that need to be removed, I'd be very grateful. And watching you filing is fun. So fast!!

It takes me forever to do myself and after so many years of following you my skill level has improved but I'm still slow. I like when you speed up the file process on the videos. Maybe show the filing of one nail or only show it if it’s critical to the design, like this one or when you do like the zebra print out of acrylic
You can’t please everyone Kirst so my advice is switch it all up. Like some vids have the filing some not, some add in the sound some not etc etc!!! One thing we know is that we ALL LOVE YOUR VIDEOS REGARDLESS!!!
