That's the biggest Largemouth Bass that I've seen John catch in some time. Hopefully, he'll be able to tie into some more of 'em, before Ol' Man Winter gets here.
A very successful day on the water. Very nice bass off of that log. Three cheers for the Yum Dinger. Definitely got the job done today. Scenery was breath taking. Not to mention a little comedy break with the squirrel swimming. He was moving right along.
Looks like Muskie might like 'em. There's one guy on UA-cam that uses Rat lures, up in Minnesota. He catches Pike and Muskie on 'em. Wonder what would happen, if he tried a Squirrel?
Great video brother, the scenery and nature amazing. Freezing your butt off camping 🏕 not so much fun. Then the bass kicked in..bonus to what you already did. Random huge log in the water...sure make a few casts. BAM!!! 5 pounder, awesome. And the perch decided to give the Yum Dinger a go...very nice. Blessings my friend, love this content John
Never saw a squirrel swimming before. That was amazing. That tail looked like it might have been acting like floatation since all the hair in it is hollow.
Nice Bass, I see you catching tons of'em on that Bubblegum. I have had very little success with that color here in the Vally, always end up going back to green pumpkin
We've all got our favorites, don't we? Hey-Whatever works, man! I'm pretty big on using those Berkeley Gulp Minnows, between 2 1/2-3 inches long. A lot of times, they work like a charm! If that doesn't work, I switch out to real nightcrawlers. I rig 'em up, Texas-style, and catch plenty of Bass, Bluegill, and Catfish, on 'em. Nothing takes the place of a natural nightcrawler...at least, in my opinion.
Wonderful feeling being out in God's creation,,catching fish& soaking everything else in! Prayers I'm fighting cancer,on my 4th chemo treatment, more to come, but I believe I a healing coming& ill be back in my kayak, being blessed again! Thanks for video, it puts me there !
Would love to see you and Chris talk fishing and telling some good stories by the fire. Always good times sadly they built over all me and my buddies old fire pit spots
John, I looked through the comments trying not to ask question over and over again. I also check the list above to see the behind you or the back camera setup.. It looks like you have two cameras mounted. Can you give me more details on your setup? So I tried that for the first time in my last video, and I found that the audio was not good. I am using just a action camera, I haven't made it to big UA-camr yet so using a cheaper camera, that could be some of the issue. I wanted to added a mic but I am using the port for my battery pack and can't connect the mic... Thanks for the Great Videos I look forward to them every time I see them post. The best part you are sharing the Bible!!!
Me, too! I'd especially love to find several of those submerged logs, with plenty of Largemouth Bass, on 'em! I consider that kind of fishing, Target fishing. You can, of course, fish alongside of those trees, or out towards the bottom of the trees, and catch ya all kinds of good-sized Bass, Bluegill, and Catfish, not to mention nice-sized schools of White and Black Crappie! Getcha some Crappie, take 'em home, fillet 'em, and have 'em for Dinner!
John I think nature just seems to reveal it's self to you every time you do a video...LOL I hope the squirrel makes it, but once again this was another fun video to watch. God Bless and GO KATS!!!!!
You had some great catches, isolated cover is where the fish aggregate to I've seen them on a small limb before, that lake is beautiful , your so lucky, great video!🎣👍
That’s interesting. I fished a tournament earlier in the year and I only caught one fish. It was caught on a random Christmas tree in the middle of the lake.
Much respect JOHN! from Sam in Kansas. "First Cast First Catch" Big fan, me and my siblings watch your videos and go fishing every chance we can , literally.
It's so much more fun to go fishing with you than most of the other fishermen on here. You seem to have a knack for finding things to see that's different from other fishing shows on utube. I had heard of squirrels swimming across lakes and smaller rivers but today with you was the first time that I ever saw one. It was cute the way he used his bushy tail for a rudder. And that log out in the middle of nowhere and you caught that gorgeous Large Mouth. Also the Perch. They make a great camping out meal. Thanks again for taking all of us along with you. God bless and continue to prosper you in all you do. Happy Fishing. 👍🐟🐠🍔🍟🍪🍕
Great back to back videos John two different scenarios both for very very good. I was going to say I like to see that squirrel cuz I've never seen one except for that one that swim and you tried to rescue what a humanitarian nature lover to me the best fishing channel on UA-cam. How much time every once in awhile he deals in a lot bigger fish basically you you're more practical not you don't like big fish you just fish what's there.
@ 5:36 refreshing how genuinly excited your reaction is, that's why I like this channel , congrats on the amazing real content ! always feels like I'm fishing with you
Then again, he might've loved tying into a Muskie...or like a 9-10 pound Largemouth Bass! You know John-The more, the merrier, and the bigger, the better!
Nice bass for sure!!! That was a beauty.
Them perch are good eats
Strange sightings..... I'm hooked 😂
Woooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeee what a bass!!!!! Nice job Jon!!!

What an awesome 21 incher. Gorgeous fish.
That's the biggest Largemouth Bass that I've seen John catch in some time. Hopefully, he'll be able to tie into some more of 'em, before Ol' Man Winter gets here.

Three cheers for the Yum Dinger. Definitely got the job done today.
Scenery was breath taking.
Not to mention a little comedy break with the squirrel swimming. He was moving right along.

It's getting beautiful down there with the color change
Need a squirrel lure.
Looks like Muskie might like 'em. There's one guy on UA-cam that uses Rat lures, up in Minnesota. He catches Pike and Muskie on 'em. Wonder what would happen, if he tried a Squirrel?

Awsome video as always. To bad you didn't get that one at your tournaments. LOL

Beautiful water. Thank you for the adventure.
Wow that 21 incher!! Nice bass! 👍
I caught and released a 20 1/8 inch river smallmouth in central Minnesota a few days ago.

Never saw a squirrel swimming before. That was amazing. That tail looked like it might have been acting like floatation since all the hair in it is hollow.
Nice catch! I saw a squirrel do that a few weeks ago. More acorns on the other side I guess.
Haha. Probably
I was wondering if that squirrel was going to make it.
I've never seen a squirrel swim across water like that before

When you have a cold morning, you might try the sunny side in the morning. They hit earlier.
It is a pleasure watching your videos, would this be one of the Ocoee lakes?
yes
Well done and nice job on the PIG of a bass man. Also I'm sure the squirrel is fine he was just out of energy swimming all that way.
I hope so
Nice largemouth
Nice bass off that log. To bad it wasn’t in a tournament.
You should check out Turtle Creek in Southern Indiana they have a 20 inch limit on large mouth bass lots of Big bass !
What a beautiful day on the water!

Some of the older GoPros aren’t good without a mic. The newer ones are a lot better
I have a hero 10 in the front and a 9 in the back
I've never seen a squirrel crossing the water either! That was cool. I've been seeing some deer lately.
Well dang I thought you were going to show us a squatch strange sighting!
I've seen a lot of large, curious top water lures, but not a squirrel...
Cool video. A very beautiful bass John. God bless you and your whole family....🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
That is a cool lake. I would love to fish some places like this

Small out of the way lake on a week day
That was a fun video.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.
Yeah John, why would a squirrel swim a lake? So strange!
That bass was an absolute beast nice catch and great video
Looks like if you wanted to catch perch yesterday you should have gone bass fishing!
You had some great catches, isolated cover is where the fish aggregate to I've seen them on a small limb before, that lake is beautiful , your so lucky, great video!🎣👍
Holy Cow s right! That fish was huge! Really happy for you!
That’s interesting. I fished a tournament earlier in the year and I only caught one fish. It was caught on a random Christmas tree in the middle of the lake.

I don't know about wearing jans to go fishing, hope you didn't get too hot under that sun
Great video! I've never seen a squirrel swim on purpose, weird! Another person I watch on yt seen a buck crossing the river
Great back to back videos John two different scenarios both for very very good. That 21" bass probably weighed 5 lbs or more.
I was guessing between 6-7 pounds...but 5 might be just about right.
I’m saying 5-3/4
@ 5:36 refreshing how genuinly excited your reaction is, that's why I like this channel , congrats on the amazing real content ! always feels like I'm fishing with you
He's lucky a big muskie didn't come along. Or a REALLLLLLLY big bass
Then again, he might've loved tying into a Muskie...or like a 9-10 pound Largemouth Bass! You know John-The more, the merrier, and the bigger, the better!
Great video. What a bass! Looked like a Great Lake to fish. What is the legal size for a yellow perch?
