I'm sorry I absolutely can't help with your skills. If you want to gain that you should practice (it's the best way, trust me). Me myself actually improved because I join pivot community such as TDD, PA, etc. Share your animation to people and ask for Critic, if you don't want or lazy to register to a forum community then just joint Pivot Animator group in Google+, that's it. It's my opinion it's up to you to improve or not, btw don't ask me to mentor because I can't haha just ask someone who really master pivot and know important aspect of it if you want someone to teach / mentor you. alright i do practice but only when i can. Tbh i might have to put it off until i get my own computer again. It sucks that i have to though. I've seen the pivot community thing but i don't want to join then have nothing to post
