And that is how the Ancestor created the Shrieker.
UA-cam: Hey this guy named Wayne posted something
Me: Oh yeah? Why are you bothering me then?
UA-cam: Wayne J---
*Me: MA BOI JUNE POSTED SOMETHING! I'M THERE ALREADY!*
FINALLY!!! Where was this when I studying gothic literature in 11th grade?!
I Discovered you through Darkest dungeon, i genuinely can play that game for nothing else than just your narration. I can go as far to say as you have the best narration voice ive ever heard, I don't usually just sit and listen to reading like this, but your narrations are just PHENOMENAL
Thanks Minu; New "Horror" audiobooks coming out soon if you want to try one of those!
@@WayneJune1 i absolutely will. Nothings better than listening to your narrations while i work on 3d models
Wayne June Read this.. couldnt ask for more...
I turned it on and closed the door
so now I can hear the raven soar
cause its just wayne june to the core!
Deep and creepy dark and eerie
Wayne makes the Raven prefectly scary
with an atmosphere so grey and dreary
I always ask for more and more
And Wayne provides it, with Poe's lore!
Be it lovecraft be it Poe
He reads it dramaticitally cold and slow
and even Pallas cringes so...
And so it ends with final stance
I come out of my dreary trance
just stab me with a golden lance
and I lay in crimson on the floor
Hearing the Raven...nevermore.
trinkets and baubles ! always a pleasure to listen
This is by far the best reading of the poem I've heard. Thanks Mr. June.
Thank you for existing, Mr. Wayne June!
You should also do Vincent by Tim Burton; Vincent Price narrated it very well.
Of course I love Mr. June for his voice, but the cadence with which he delivers the lines also highlights Poe's genius. This is such a perfect combination of talents!
mister, are you for real? damnable eldritch, 2 hours ago i was whining "wait there is no recording of wayne june reading the raven by poe? lame" holy hell you rock
Truly fascinating!
I'm dying to hear The Pit and the Pendulum, Mask of the Red Death or The Fall of the House of Usher... Like any of the short stories or poems by Poe.
I prefer your amazing voice to one inside my head when I'm reading :-D
Oh my god the chills!
Your voice tampers with the strings of my heart. I love you Wayne June 🤩🖤
Absolutely love you Wayne, can’t wait for darkest dungeon 2!
You know June, I love your work, but I also love to be able to sleep without watching my back for monsters, so I'm always hesitant about clicking your videos haha
Hahaha... Well, to quote Poe: "There are few persons, even among the calmest thinkers, who have not occasionally been startled into a vague yet thrilling half-credence in the supernatural"
Whew. Still amazing voicework, Wayne.
Loved your work in Darkest Dungeon - glad to see (well, hear) more of it!
eer
The eloquent locutions portrayed by your baritone recitations still bear their noble and sinister tones I came to enjoy on a moon since past. Effusive congratulations remain... quite in order. *random evil laughing*
Wayne June disliked his own video because perfection is an illusion
All the decadent horrors I have seen pale in comparison with that final, crowning thing. I could not look, nor could I look away!
nevermore
This makes me feel peaceful. Currently lying in bed with a wretched disease.
This fits too well. You have typecast yourself as a narrator for any dark or depressing tone. I love it!
A true confluence of skill and purpose
Thank you Wayne, you're my favorite narrator!
Thank you for this unexpected video. Usually stuff like this gets attention only during Halloween. I hope to hear some more Poe readings in the future.
I was imagining Poe writing this as you read it. The words flowed so fluidly that it seemed like he was the one speaking them as he put them to paper. Absolutely amazing, thank you Mr. June.
You sir, have a PRICELESS voice. May you continue your work for a very long time
I've always loved this poem. Thank you for your incredible work.
Mr. June, thank you for reading one of my favorite poems. Your a very talented and i appreciate your art.
This is a really beautiful poem and you help make it shine through. Keep up the good work, Wayne June.
This is what my Halloween was missing
*edit* OMEG thanks Wayne
I am bewitched. This is my favourite poem and it gave me goosebumps. Such a majestic voice.
Masterfully executed.
Finally! I've been waiting for this on youtube - favourite narrator, favourite poem and favourite author. Wayne's voice - dude could read my credit card statement and i'd enjoy it.
I can recite this poem by heart
I brag that wherever I can
Superb work, Mr. June! After hearing your narration of it, I like this poem even more than before!
Absolutely amazing! Well done Wayne!! I can't help but remember that Simpsons Halloween special when they did The Raven.
This is my favorite reading of this. I found you through Darkest Dungeon, but you’re such a damn good voice actor. Literally the perfect narrator for any horror, I love it.
I would love to hear you read a great many things. Such a treat to listen. Thank you! Also a fan of The Ancestor. Great work.
Sir, you inspired me to become a book reader myself. Since my voice is sorta deep, I’ve began reading to my friends while in calls. And privately reading Lovecraft and old poetry. Thank you Mr. June
Epic.
You are all times Great.
"Dummy thicc and nothing more" would make a good joke Ancestor line.
This is awesome!! I'm tired of replaying conqueror's worm and the tomb.. MORE CONTENT!! I LOVE THIS!! :D
I listen to this every day at least once, i wanna have it memorized eventually!
Thanks Wayne, very cool.
I love that zoom in on the Raven. 6:00
I thought this voice sounded familiar lol, Darkest Dungeon : ) If I smoked 30 cigars and went without water for 5 days, I still wouldnt sound this good. Fantastic love it
Blessed voice!
@@WayneJune1 So you're welcome kind sir! You deserve every praise you get!
This is the best reading of this poem ever
I have just recommended your narration/reading to my English students ( I'm Brazilian). Want to learn some fantastic new words? With an alluring voice behind them?.......please. Listen to this masterpiece. Sir, you have made my day. Thanks.
Please make a GPS or Voice thing I can buy I will pay a lot of money Wayne I'm serious xD
Oh i needed this
This video was *MASTERFULLY EXECUTED*
I would follow this voice into war .... Masterful work Mr. June. Next stop... Noir Books ❤️
Video I've been looking for to make the poem so intense and graphic
I'm so happy Indeimaus left that link in his video, I never would have known you had a UA-cam channel. (Your voice is amazing by the way.)
I found you out via darkest dungeon, and by the elder gods i love your voice acting keep the work man :)
Favorite voice. Hoping to see an appearance in cinematography one day
Have been a fan of Wayne June from video games such as Dota and Darkest Dungeon. Love his narration.
Thank Good for you're brilliant voice.
This is such a fantastic rendition of the classic, Mr.June! - Great to heard with some rain and a fireplace in the background. If there was any other piece that would be perfect for you, I would suggest 'Ozymandias' by Percy Shelley.
Mr June, any chance that that you offer your services in Fiverr or other similar platforms? I'd love to have some lines read by you for my Darkest Dungeon mod.
Congratulations for all your amazing work, greetings from Chile
So accurate! Thank you!
Wonderful!🖤
My God, how do you do it?
There's something in your voice that's just enthralling to hear, it's like a siren chanting. A manly, eldritch, rpg-narrating siren
Your voice is magnificent; I try to learn English and I chose your videos to practice my ear. I hope someday to understand the language perfectly and to be able to enjoy your stories from start to finish.
Dude, it must really suck for deaf people.. They are unable to hear such beauty and such a handsome voice.. I really feel bad for them.
oh *GOD* yes!
Can I steal your voice, Mr. June?
Amazing narration!
This is how i imagine the DD2 quirk "tune hummer." A great thing to listen to, but not when you're trying to focus or fight lol.
Your voice is so calming
Wayne fucking rules!!! Wish I could hire him to narrate my D&D Battles lol.
Your voice is so magnificent, so deep... I know it sounds selfish, but I'd love to hear Ozymabdias by Percy Shelley read by you !
Wayne June could read the entire phone book and it would still be amazing
Makes my october better
Remember that overconfidence is a slow, insidious killer
You must have one of the best voices ever
Might you do "The Masque of the Red Death"? No specific reason ;)
Awesome
This narration is absolutely amazing wow. The execution, the tone, everything is perfect
Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer
Wayne June is the shit!
Great is the weapon thats cuts on its own.
Hope you're doing well during such hard times
"In time, you will know the tragic extent of my failings.
