Hi Chris! I hope this message finds you well. I've been an avid follower of your content on Fiverr tips, and it's been incredibly insightful in my journey to becoming a freelancer. I noticed that many of your viewers have questions in the comments that sometimes go unanswered, likely due to the sheer volume. To help streamline these interactions, I'd be thrilled to set up a Discord server for you, completely free of charge. This way, it could serve as a dedicated space for Q&A, discussions, and updates, making it easier for you to connect with your audience. Please let me know if this idea interests you, and I'd be more than happy to make it happen. Thanks again for all the invaluable guidance you provide-I’d be honored to support your community in any way I can!
Hey Chirs, I watched couple of your videos and those are pretty helpful and informative Love your videos. I have a question though. I have started fiverr account a while ago worked on it for a little while picked up some of the project when buyer request was a thing. However I want to get into it again but as I can see on fiver in my niche there is a lot of competition and I have changed my niche as well as earlier I was working with the motion designer but now I am alone so i offer UI/UX design services. You think fiverr would be a good platform for a designer like me? I have some experience working with a client so I ain't completely new but the clients I had was from a local connections whom I used to know. Please let me know I want to take my freelancing to next level and want to work as a full time freelancer. Your input on this would be a huge help. Thanks again for making awesome videos.
Full transparency, I was so enthusiastic to start this but creating video content just got so busy, and generally it’s so much more profitable that I weighed things up and the effort and time I’d have to put into it at the beginning to get to a point where things are automated. I just didn’t have that time. This is over though, and it will happen at some stage. However right now it’s a new week and I want to try something new which before Xmas should be the best time to do so.
Still am also in that field so if you any advice I can help.I mainly focus on a neuro marketing, perception management context strategies of social media, content creation and alot more..
Hi me and my agency starts creating content for social media/ecommerce with the help of ai, so its (cheaper, faster, better quality/easy to test or create in bulk) than usual creating content like product picture, product video, ect
Generally this could work well on both upwork or Fiverr. But ideally you want to also aim to get clients outside of these platforms on monthly retainers
@@freelancewithchris How do i do that? i even need to get more buyers on facebook or any social media platform But i dont have the idea can you assist me on that please??
Both Upwork and Fiverr would work great. But with Upwork I feel you'll be able to build longer relationships with the clients for example helping manage their store too.

I think we don’t get this order fast expect you have a review on your gig… what’s your take on that? And do you have a specific timeframe for people with no reviews to land their first order?
I am shocked to see a successful Fiverr freelancer using UA-cam video titles like 'Easy Steps' and '10 Easy Gigs' on his channel. You know it's difficult, and you know the competition is tough, yet you present it as quick and easy work to your followers. Even worse, you uploaded a video titled 'The TRUTH About Freelancing NOBODY Talks About!' with the expectation of earning a lot of money, while you're contributing to the misconception that selling on the platform is easy. These kinds of videos only attract people to the platform who try 'easy hacks' and offer gigs at low prices, which damages the platform's reputation.
It depends on your definition of difficult? If you think you can create a gig and make a ton of money without any further effort then of course you'll be disappointed. Working for yourself and building your own business comes down to your level of determination. Everything is doable, and everything is relatively easy, a lot of the time it's mindset and procrastination. I live purely by the rule of "If someone else is doing it and made it happen, then why can't I". And regarding the kind of people who try "easy hacks"...they'll find themselves unsuccessful and either push forward or give up! Nothing happens overnight, even if some are naive enough to believe that. But that's never the impression I give. However, can you potentially earn $1k in your first month on fiverr, YES..because i've helped people do it.
Yes, but we are now talking about your thumbnails, titles, and the first few seconds of your videos (and others, of course). When you look at that you DO give the impression that it's easy and Fiverr does appear to be an easy money machine, where simple tricks and hacks work, and you will make a lot of money quickly. However, the reality is that 9 out of 10 times, these efforts either fail or make only a minimal amount of money, nowhere near the figures shown in the thumbnails. While I understand the approach of "trying to get views with titles and thumbnails," and I know that in-depth, you don’t claim it's easy to do, you also know that many people online don’t do enough research on their own. The Fiverr forums are full of "Why haven’t I received an order in the past two weeks?" posts. And I’m not talking about two of these topics per week, but more than 10 a day. These are people who were promised paradise on UA-cam. The biggest issue is that these low-quality gigs and new users are contributing to the decline of the platform and damaging various niches. Many people no longer take Fiverr seriously because of these "make money fast" users. There’s no passion anymore. They’re all looking for quick bucks, which disappoints buyers and ultimately disappoints real professional sellers. You can try to turn the topic around all you want, but with these misleading thumbnails and titles, you’re part of the problem we see on the platform daily. When you say, "It depends on your definition of difficult," I mean the general difficulty of life as a freelancer. It’s not always "working on your laptop from a nice balcony somewhere beautiful" for everyone. It’s hard work-many hours invested in client communication, learning to write and communicate in proper English, dealing with taxes, money management, planning, and being creative on demand, just to name a few. You make it sound like, "Do these 10 gigs, and watch the money flow into your account." It doesn’t work like that for 9 out of 10 people, yet you still make a misleading promise that it will.
@@freelancewithchris I was planning to make similar video, just an advice your tips are too broad. Its like you are saying to travel from point A to point B, you can either walk, ride a bike or drive a car which everyone know that

2 weeks! The first month if you push you should (depending on your service) be able to get around $500+ in. Even with no reviews, you will still get clients, but of course, they won't be your ideal ones. But at the start you need to price yourself lower
