I have just purchased this game RIGHT.NOW! Not 5 minutes ago but at this very exact moment, and I'm gonna have one fucking heck of a fun with it. You seem to only care about the graphics, I care about the game, music, story, challenge, replay value, nostalgia, the everything instead of just visuals,
Lets see, remixed music tracks for some tracks, artwork not seen on the later MMAC, an encyclopedia bestiary for the enemies, and Pocketstation support in Japan. These are also collectors items as they didn't see major printing in Japan, but were budget titles for 2,800 yen when released. I only own Rockman 5 PS1, I'd like to one day get the rest to compliment my copy of MMAC PS2 and my original 6 Mega Man NES cart series.
In addition of Megaman 2 being my favorite, Megaman 3 is my most favorite Megaman game to play. I love Snakeman's, Needleman's, Geminiman's, and Shadowman's music and their stages.
I definitely like Proto Man's, or rather Blue's, complete works theme. It fits him, given his wandering style and it feels like blues-style....just like his name.
so the legacy collection was originally on the psx? =p. Actually this looks like it runs better, but the legacy collection is a perfect emulation from the nes games.
Something like that, the Complete works is like the code that run on PS1 engine so more things can be fixed and added like new UI and BGM. Legacy Collection is just the emulator so everything are just back to the NES limitation, so you can get the same experience as the original. It's kinda different. I'd say PS1 Complete Works is better as it fixed some problem like flickering and slow-downs even in original mode (Old UI and BGM), but the Legacy Collection can be the choice for accessibility as it's easier to get nowadays and has pretty much the same performance as NES for nostalgia or new comers that want to feels what the "Good 'ol days of Megaman" was all about first-handed.
Well emulators weren't so popular back then so allot of "mainstream" people back then just didn't know they existed ! On the other hand NES emulation on PC's (Amiga,Windows,Mac etc) wasn't perfect back then but I'm sure that isn't the reason people would buy this over using Emu's But I'm sure this just sold for like around 5-10 dollars in japan (don't know how much a Yen's worth..) so its no big deal.
My favorite Megaman game of all time. The extra stages and facing the Megaman 2 robot ghosts, that was epic!

The original music is sweet.

slighty difference from original version of rockman 3 NES, like icon below health meter and ! sign. and also the music tempo faster.
it's Navi mode
The arcade-styled music can be used if Navi Mode is chosen with SELECT and START buttons pressed together.
Agreed.

top too top top e top 😍😍😍
The original PlayStation doing HD ? yeah right...
People who want to play the classic series and don't have the Famicom. Graphics aren't that important.
Am I the ONLY dude who goes after Hard Man first? xD
ah, with turbo it`s easy!
y u no play with remixed music???
ProjectXv2 I always go hardman first. xD
I think Top Man is the best choice for the first robot master, since his level isn't very difficult, and he's simple.
