Thank you for the video, I just started making my very first load of cherries from our tree. This year we planted a morello cherry tree too, can't wait to try that, as my granny's used morello most of the time. My cherries just started to boil. Thank you again. Hi from Scotland.
Hi, this was very straightforward and looks easy! What do you use these cherries for? I have some store-bought that aren't very sweet so I looked up videos to can them. I look forward to watching more of your videos!
Nancy M...Yes..specific family situations call for different canning requirements, and those change with the changing family dynamics..I personally have many 4oz jars and I know I purchased them for a reason, I can't remember what I used them for. Now I mainly use pints and 8oz jars, although I do own lots of quarts as well.
Hi Toni! I buy frozen, pitted cherries, from Walmart. Do you think i could use them doing what you did here? Also, how many cups of cherries did you do?
Deborah's This & That...I don't see why not, and actually most of the prep work would be done for you..I always say, if unsure...make a small test batch and see how you like the results..:-) sorry, I don't remember how may cups of cherries I did.

they can be used in baking mostly!
There are 3 adults in my house. We don't eat much in the way of sweet foods. So I prefer 4 oz canning jars for things like jam.
