Thanks for this video! This is also my exact set up (insurance paid for one and got gifted the other) so it’s great to see first-hand experience about when to use either.
Thanks for watching! I got the spectra through my insurance too. I think if you are able to get both it's worth it if you pump when traveling. I've taken the spectra to work before and it was awful to carry around lol.
Thank you for this review it was just what I needed. You have the combo I'm gonna get. My insurance was giving me the option of getting the spectra for free and the willow go for $100. I got the Willow via insurance because it was the most expensive option and will buy the spectra out of pocket since it's not overly expensive. I think the Willow will be a huge help once I'm back to work. But the spectra will be needed in the first few months to regulate milk production and figure out what I'm doing since this is my first. Then I'll just be using it at night.
That's so exciting! Check out aeroflowbreastpumps.com/ you can put in your insurance and see what you qualify for as well. They have a ton of free classes that you can take online to get ready for the baby. Good luck momma!
In my opinion, absoutely!! A lot of women are discouraged to pump because of the effort it takes, but I think its more convenient than having to buy and prepare formula everytime. You will never run out of food and I love that I am the source of her nutrition, it makes me feel closer to her.
Yes! even if you have a lower supply, the antibodies alone are so great to give baby in early days/weeks of life! Additionally… formula is EXPENSIVE. I was paying over $300/mo for formula when my milk supply dried at 5 months.
Both pretty much have the same level of noise, it's a light humming sound so if it's quiet you'll here it but if you're watching tv you probably wouldn't be able to hear it across the room.
I probably use the willow go one a little bit more since I am constantly running around, but I really do like the spectra one for all of the reasons I mentioned and I still use that one every day.

The piece on the bag of the Willow go is the flange, it’s absolutely needed.
Yes, you need every one of the pieces or it won't work.

I got the Willow pump and love it! Super convenient.
It's amazing for on the go! Sometimes if I really don't have time I'll pump in the car, love that it is small enough to fit in a regular bag as well/

Is pumping worth it over formula?

That was great.
Thanks! Hopefully it helps make the decision between the two styles of pumps.
How quiet is the spectra pump?

Not sure if I should get one or both, do you feel like you use one more over the other?

Great
Thank you!
