I will explain to you the three most critical mistakes during the onboarding process that you really have to avoid.
Recruiting costs can easily reach up to 40% of the annual salary for the job position to be filled. If the new employee is not properly trained after hiring, the employer is really wasting hard cash.
As a leadership and manager coach I noticed this fatal mistake with quite a few of my clients. A lot of effort, time and resources are put into finding suitable candidates, but then the new hires are not being inducted and trained well. Mostly the companies have lousy onboarding processes.
Recklessly neglecting the Onboarding of new employees turns out to be a costly mistake, for example when the new employee is already leaving during the probation period, or it becomes clear, far too late, that the person doesn’t really fit in the organisation or the team after all.
Therefore I ‚ll explain in this video 3 really bad mistakes during onboarding that I come across time and again and that simply should not happen at all.

I hit the link, I subscribed my email, where is the guide?
@@samanthapeka7790 Sorry about that. I can see in my email system that you subscribed. An automatic email was sent to you with the checklist.
Maybe the email is in the SPAM filter.
Nevertheles, I just sent you a personal email with the checklist attached to this email.
Hope that helps.
I clicked the link and subscribed, but still no email with the guide was received.
@@ty6390 I am sorry. I use a double optin process. I can only send you emails if you clicked in the email for the double optin.
If you still didn't receive the checklist, please shoot me an email to info@berndgeropp.com.

Very helpful ... Keep going
Thank you
Lol they are not paying me during training and I can’t be bothered
Is it normal for a manager whom you report to, to go on holiday after 2 weeks from when you started a new job. He leaves you with a list to do things without proper onboarding, or training. What is more every internal stakeholder is on holiday, and yet you are expected to be fully on track with everything after the manager comes back from holiday?
Amazing video! I did not have a proper onboarding, I don't know what to do, how to do and feel totally out of place and stupid. Can I request an onboarding process? Or how exactly do I request for a proper training? It feels really disappointing and as though I made the wrong decision joining the organisation 😓
Should I tell my manager that I feel out of place or how to express my concern without it seeming like I'm complaining. While I'm truly frustrated :(
Thanks. Nothing wrong with politely asking your supervisor if he or she can help you with an initial training or feedback. In the end it should be also in their interest, so that you can make your job. Nevertheless I believe it is important that you ask for it in a friendly and not "accusing way".
@@BerndGeropp thank you Bernd that helps 😀
