Crazy, this is the inverse of what BFMV was before, 80% singing and 20% screaming. Now they’re 80% screaming and 20% singing. I like it!

this has the modern djent heavy feels. very different from the pre-2010 metalcore Poison and SAF we know
@@theresnowaythisistakendickhead it is very different from the early days indeed, he had throat surgery and pretty much had to re learn how to sing/scream again that's why everything after Scream Aim Fire vocal wise sounds completely different, that as well as the original bassist/backup vocalist and drummer being replaced changed the sound of the band over time.
That "I hope you choke" at the end is still giving me goosebumps. Such a heavy outro. I do wish Jamie's screams were a bit louder. I can only imagine hearing that line but with layered screams. Throw in a growl or some highs alongside the mids and that line would spawn a wall of death instantly. Brutal.

Finally they wrote a SOLO after ages, tasty af.
My biggest problem with Gravity is the lack of solos. I think that with solos, tasty dual leads and drop C would be an awesome album.
Solo’s aren’t everything! But I sure as hell did miss hearing Padge absolutely shred a solo to a DOPE ass song‼️🔥🤘🏽 Like I seen people bitchin about there being no solo in Knives when it came out…. Knives just isn’t the type of song to put a solo on!! The breakdown was amazing & sounds WAYYY better than what a solo would have brought to the song: they save the Solo’s for the more “Thrashy” songs & Break downs for the heavy Metal-Core songs. & that’s the way it should stay!🙏🏽🖤

They sound like the generic 2000s pop rock which makes me sick considering how AA used to be the bomb at metalcore and ALOT of people are waiting for them to go heavy again but I dont think it will happen. If AA keeps making music the way they are I think they will break up or something

id argue this is super tasteless. the riffs are so fucking basic its almost funny. old BMFV riffs where so unique and creative and heavy. but this is just boring and repetitive. Hitting the same to notes over and over does not make you heavy that makes you fucking lazy

I REALLY loved the callback to so many of their old banger singles. If their goal was to give me so much BFMV nostalgia that I spend the next few days binging their catalogue, they did it with one song. Well played (this is only in the album version of the song, it opens with snippets of several older songs intercut as an intro)

I feel like fever was the peak of bfmv, not saying the other albums were bad in the least bit, its just that fever rose SLIGHTLY above the others with its iconic riffs and melodies, but this new album is seeming VERY promising.

I always loved u guys. Versatile beyond belief and i love bands with such range. I must say, i wasnt expecting u guys to crank up the heaviness a few more notches like this. But i love it!!! U guys have always been phenomenal and u never disappoint. Even when u switch it up a little, its always fire 🔥
They've got some massive bangers and signature songs, but I believe this one gets all the best effort of all personnel and its definetly one (if not DA) best songs of BFMV \m/

I almost never listen to this style of music anymore, but Matt going back to the sound that made me fall in love with this genre as kid, is quite a breath of fresh air.

The clean hook isn't the most hooky but it's got energy and emotion so I dig it.
They did it well too, didn’t give it to us straight away, we had verse and I guess a pre-chorus, then it went back to verse and we got the chorus the second time around.
The people who have the audacity to criticize bands like that have never made a song in their entire life so who cares what they think. Listen to what you love and forget what anyone else thinks about it
"Return to form" they did the same with venom and than they put out what ever the fuck gravity was, bullet are following a trend of releasing a good album and than releasing a trash album after it and they have been repeating this for a while now.
@@thenightking6662 bullet won the award for worst rock/metal album of the year back when temper temper was released, than they put out venom which was good and than they put out the dumpster fire that was gravity which is a literal one time listen and than your done with it, none of the songs off of that album are unique, bullet have been following a trend of releasing a good album and than the follow up album is complete garbage.
@@TobikunOuO temper temper and gravity were their attempts at gaining more popularity by writing songs straight to radio. Venom was okayish, I only liked half of it- the echoes of forced commercialization were still there, albeit coated in "heavy". This new stuff sounds great because so far, I hear the heart in these songs.
I always liked evolution in these guys. First three albums were very different from each other and this may be the long awaited next step leading to their success and expansion.
