If you're playing commander, you could have Jetmir, Nexus of Revels as commander. He works really well cause if you have more than 9 creatures, they all get +3/+0 and have vigilance, trample, AND double strike. I have him as commander for a deck and it works like a charm most of the time.
Why no Mondrak or Ojer Taq? Mondrak costing the same as AP, being a creature capable of dealing dmg and possibility of indestructible, the card also cost less.
