I recently purchased their 1700W unit on Amazon AU for an amazing price of AU$115 . In Oz we have to cough up around AU$150 for a 1000W unit so this was a bargain. Haven't flogged it yet but will be happy if it can push 1500W continuous at times. Your test shows it can produce what it claims and shutdown on overload which is good. Anyway you look at it, when you start pushing 200A that is some serious current.
There is a difference. Victron is a hybrid LF. And HF inverter and will last forever, the customer service seems to be amazing and worth the price alone. And the idle consumption is crazy crazy low.
Have you ever tried measuring the voltage at the battery and the voltage at the inverter to see how much both the voltage drop is and watts wasted is with undersized wires? Thanks for your report. This unit is cheap right now for 3000 watts of pure sine wave. A T Burke
I would Think a 3000 WATT Inverter could run almost twice It's Rating - Like a Victron Phoenic 24 Volt 1200 Watt Inverter maxes at 2300 Watts effortlessly. Is this Not an Industry Standard ?
More an industry advertising claim than an industry standard. High frequency inverters are lucky to make double their rated output for power inrush. Low frequency inverters will usually do three times their rating and for more than a microsecond. A T burke
This inverter should be able to handle inrush power of up to 6000w for a moment. Internal wiring isn't big enough to handle for an extended amount of time.
guys, stop it, your insulting VICTRON 😂. you can't mention VICTRON or compare VICTRON with this. my main inverter is a victron. I run it 24/7, unless I have ☁️ .. I wouldn't touch that no band inverter with a 10 foot-pole 😅.. or 100-foot pole 😅..
Please dont ever stop making these videos you are saving people's lives with these reviews
This is a pretty solid inverter I think for the price its a great deal.
I think so also. I didn't have any problems with it.
Did i miss the idle consumption?

You're right. You really should be using 12v if you are constantly pushing 200A! Thanks for the comment!
Great review! Question, does the PD ports (USB A and USB C) work when the inverter is in the off position?
No. Inverter needs to be on.
Gotta wonder what the difference is between a Victron "$$$" inverter vs this unit.....Thanks for the review...
Probably life expectancy. Victron is pricey, but man are they great quality! I've never had an issue with any of the Victron products I use.

I need to do a video on that.. I think the results would be very interesting!
What happen to your solar set up with the victron charge controllers have Not seen you Talking about it in a long time ?
I definitely still use it. It works so well I total forget that it's there!
@@OffGridBasement you can give us a update on it

i dont think you can compare a Victron Inverter to this Inverter.
