Very great video and helpful advice I will be attempting a glass etching on 3 of my glass panels for my next case I just need to find the right Dragonball z decals to use for it
Nope, this is VERY permanent. It's basically destroying the surface of the glass. If you want something that you can peel off later, you'll probably want to look at some sort of vinyl.
The Overclocker I'm lucky that I have my own little vinyl cutter, but for less intricate designs you can cut it by hand, and the more complicated stuff do a Google search in your area for vinyl cutting. Sign shops usually have a vinyl cutter.

You sir have very steady hands. Very nicely done.
You should see me before the first pot of coffee... Thanks!
Very old, but you might be still here: It's not an permanent mod right? So can I peal it off if I don't like it anymore

@@iamtheplumber Thanks! I don't know why I thought that it's not permanently ^^
What's the brand of the cream you used?
Armour Etch.
Bob and I used the same stuff on our Zotac build for CES! Works great and with all the glass these days this video will be handy for lots of people!
How do u make the vinyl etch graphic???
Looks great! Advice to beginners (or clumsy people like myself), tape off or cover all areas you dont want etched.
whoa! that made it look super cool. i'm now thinking doing that to my s340 elite case.
You should! It really is an easy mod!
Whole build looks beautiful!!!
Great vid! Especially the intro haha. Glass etching also works great on mirrored surfaces.
Nice Job!
Hope my hand drawn etch turns out looking as nice.
The etching came out great!
Great Idea!!!! Thanks Dave!
Thanks all! I'm really happy with how it turned out. Also really happy I didn't ruin that panel, hahahaha!
